Pricing: On the weekends, its $45 for the rental tube + shuttle. We also got the cooler tube which was an added $25 and was SO Worth it! Especially if you come late in the season like us where the river float is about 4-6 hours, thats a pretty long time and an extra float to put cold drinks and snacks was very much worth the little investment. Note - you have to bring your own ice for the cooler! They have a ton of parking onsite which makes it easy. We seemed to be the tail end since their reservation times end at 3pm. Check in was easy. They also have tiny lockers to put your keys in if you need. Their store has floats for sale and some other floating necessities. Things we brought: - sunscreen! - sunglasses and hat - watershoes or water sandals because it can be slippery/rocky in the river if you swim/have to walk in certain areas. - waterproof speakers - definitely makes for a great time! - change of clothes - which we left in our car for afterwards (this was nice because in the float, your butt is literally just sitting in water the entire time) - bug spray - might be handy if you plan to stop on land - phone protection - either a ziplock or phone bag because things can get pretty wet. - snacks - water - drinks - no glass! plastic and cans are ok, just make sure to keep your trash with you till the end where they have appropriate disposal areas. Overall, my group and I had a wonderful experience. The river was pretty slow and we had to walk one area but we knew that going in.

The rules are completely over the top. You have to be 16+ just to use the hot tub, which already feels excessive, but banning pool noodles is next level ridiculous. I didn't even bring one, they literally had a whole bin of them there, just sitting there that no one is allowed to use. What is even the point of that? Then, after paying, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for absolutely no clear reason. No explanation, no organization, just standing around while time was wasted. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all. And the sanitation? Questionable at best. For a place that's supposed to be about swimming and cleanliness, it did not feel clean or well-maintained. Overall, this place manages to be strict, disorganized, and underwhelming all at once. Charging people for this kind of experience is wild. I definitely won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy paying to be annoyed

My children have been in the Preschool, Before & After school Care program, Summer Camps, & Swim lessons and they just can't get enough. Between all the events for the whole family, and the ones made just for us adults, there is always something for us to do there. Shout out to their Fitness Coordinator, Marianne. Her knowledge and patience through our personal training journey has been nothing but superb. Through multiple injuries, and a busy life, she helps me navigate what fits my needs best at every appointment. Thank you Samena for providing a safe 3rd place for our community!

We recently had a very concerning experience after visiting Samena. After using the hot tub, my…read moredaughter developed a rash that was later diagnosed by her doctor as hot tub folliculitis ("hot tub rash"). What initially seemed minor quickly escalated into a much more serious, full-body condition requiring an ER visit and follow-up care with a dermatologist. This has been an incredibly stressful and painful experience for our family, all stemming from what should have been a safe and well-maintained facility. I did contact management to report what happened. While they stated that their cleaning and maintenance procedures are within guidelines, that response was frustrating given the outcome and the severity of my daughter's condition. Proper sanitation of hot tubs is critical, and based on our experience, I would urge others to be cautious. Unfortunately, I can't recommend using the hot tub facilities here.

The host was super helpful throughout checking in, helping set things up, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Food was good and convenient for a party setting, nothing over the top, but it did the job and the kids were happy. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a low-stress, fun birthday party venue where kids can run around. I do wish their party packages had extended hours. 2 hours didn't seem like enough.

I appreciate that the play structure is designed tall enough for parents to navigate as needed too, even on upper levels. There was also plenty of space for parents to hang out and watch. The party room was totally serviceable (we booked a 12-kid package with 7 kids and 12 adults, which meant some of the adults were standing (12 chairs), but it worked fine and it didn't feel crowded). I am glad we booked a larger party size than needed so some adults could sit! You are allowed in 30 minutes before your start time to decorate - and they leave blue painter's tape for you. I pre-staged one wall mural, two tablecloths, a banner, and some hanging decorations in a tub and that transformed the plain space quickly and perfectly for a kid's party. Food was better than I expected for a play zone cafeteria - pizza was included in the package, and we added a half-tray of chicken tenders (very popular), which came with fries, and a half-tray of fruit (which the kids loved and was fresh). Lemonade was tasty too. Had a whole pizza left over! The only outside food you can bring is a "celebratory dessert" - easy!! Our party host on the day of the party was sweet, accommodating, and low-key while also checking in the perfect amount. All other staff onsite were also welcoming and helpful. I can see how two hours could be tight for some folks, but they're very upfront about the expectations, and it was no big deal - I just kept an eye on the clock and moved things along. Booking was a little confusing on the website (a larger room size was incorrectly showing for the smaller party package), but their party coordinator got me fixed after I screwed up my reservation initially. Overall, this was a great party experience, and we'd do it again. Low-key, so much just handled for you... Thanks, Kaity and Ridge Staff!

Highly recommend water shoes for this. Quite a bit of shore rest stops that people been using as a bio break bc no actual bathroom nearby. This was a tough hike, even though I chose it since the book said "moderate" and even looking up some reviews people had said the hike as relatively simple to enjoy a fantastic lake view. We were both pretty dead at the end due to the length and steep inclines. Knees were pretty banged up because of all the rocks. The trail in the beginning wasn't so bad, definitely got my heart pumping because of the elevation, but as you go higher up there were a lot of switchbacks and seemingly no end in sight. We hustled up the mountain pretty quickly though, which was why we were so tired at the end. The view is definitely worth it in the end; recommend bringing a hammock! There's also plenty of sitting area through slabs of rocks. Coming down we encountered: 1) a girl who was crying we believe because of the toughness of the trail, 2) a couple who stopped us to ask how much longer it was to the top (they unfortunately weren't even halfway) which signifies how tough this hike was. Definitely recommend bringing more than enough water or you will definitely be dehydrated (like we were). Otherwise glad we did this and would recommend (you won't regret it but your body will hate you haha).
