I brought 60 students and 12 adults to the Double K and the entire trip from start to finish was a blast. They were so helpful with A/V equipment and even provided worship for us when we were in a pinch- which was outstanding! The art room exceeded all expectations and my students loved the experience of creating in the presence of the Lord. Definitely worth it! The studio was so beautiful. The food was great! The kitchen staff were amazing and kind! The rooms and dorms were clean and had tons of games available. Sledding was so fun, there were so many different sled options. I can't say enough good things about the Double K and Joel & Ashley and their staff. This place is blessed to have them and we are grateful for the blessing they are to Elevate Youth Ministry! Check in was easy with complimentary lockers for keys & phones. There was a shop to purchase dry bags, shoes & your own floats. Your reservation included a mesh bag to put your trash, shoes or personal belongings in. Suggestion: Pack a large zip lock for snacks & another with sunscreen & phone. Both fit in the mesh bag with 2 bottles of water. Tip: A large sign that I was approaching the parking lot would have been helpful. Staff were so friendly and great at answering our questions, as we were new to this adventure. Quick van ride up the river & unloaded with a phone number to call if we had any issues. During the ride you'll listen to a safety presentation. Insider info: you cannot pay extra for the sun to come out or the river to be heated (we asked) We brought our own tubes & for $3 staff would fill them. The rental tubes did not have cup holders, which our friends would have liked. The rental tubes came with straps to connect the tubes. Paddles were provided for all floaters (even if you bring your own tube; you'll want one!). You can also rent a cooler! Life jackets are required & provided free of charge, to borrow. There are places to stop and get out for lunch, rope swing & log jumps. We were on the river for about 3 hours and enjoyed 3 "rapids". July 3 we could have probably floated without stopping in 90 minutes-2 hours. You get out at the parking lot. It's a bit of a walk up and across the field, to the car & tube rental return. Tip: Wear tight fitting shoes! I saw 3 flip flops/crocs floating down the river! Invest in aquasocks!!! My 10 year old said "This is a memory I'll remember forever! I can't wait to share this with my class when I go back to school!!" We bought our tubes at Walmart & they did great. I would say if you have an adventurous younger kiddo (under 7 years) consider a double tube. The friends we were with had kiddos who got a bit scared when we unhooked during the rapids. They weren't scary rapids but the kids had to figure out how to paddle and get back to the group. I have a 6 year old & would love to bring him next time. Oh, and don't leave Fall City before getting a burger & shake at Small Fryes, just across the way from the parking lot.

Then, after paying, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for absolutely no clear reason. No explanation, no organization, just standing around while time was wasted. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all. And the sanitation? Questionable at best. For a place that's supposed to be about swimming and cleanliness, it did not feel clean or well-maintained. Overall, this place manages to be strict, disorganized, and underwhelming all at once. Charging people for this kind of experience is wild. I definitely won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy paying to be annoyed

Today was one-on-one with the teacher and getting used to the water. There was some instructions for the kiddos and they did great listening! I definitely recommend giving this place a shot. They have a shallow end for the kiddos. LSH didn't have a shallow end. They have an awesome snack counter with drinks and coffee. Everything you need for swim meats. There is also a large gift shop right when you walk in. We look forward to the rest of the classes as the summer progresses.

The first time was on winter break and two weeks after he swam here we discovered them. Figured it was a fluke and was unlikely to happen again so I signed him up for swim camp during the summer of '25. Ridding your home of pinworms is extremely tiring and difficult to do. Needless to say it caused myself a tremendous amount of stress. The teens that work here obviously don't clean/sanitize the locker rooms etc. I was fortunate to get a refund for the remainder of the summer he didn't go. I will never bring my family back here again.

What initially seemed minor quickly escalated into a much more serious, full-body condition requiring an ER visit and follow-up care with a dermatologist. This has been an incredibly stressful and painful experience for our family, all stemming from what should have been a safe and well-maintained facility. I did contact management to report what happened. While they stated that their cleaning and maintenance procedures are within guidelines, that response was frustrating given the outcome and the severity of my daughter's condition. Proper sanitation of hot tubs is critical, and based on our experience, I would urge others to be cautious. Unfortunately, I can't recommend using the hot tub facilities here.

Reservation cancelled at the last second leaving me high and dry…read more Came up to Seattle for work and two weekends of riding, both were booked through Evo/Compass. The first weekend went great with them meeting me at the trail head and being flexible with pickup time. The day before my Saturday rental I got a cancellation notification from Compass letting me know I no longer had a reservation leaving me high and dry as no other shops had a rental available on such short notice.
