Too many places corrupt great products by making them too Brazilian. Take the hot wings at outback. The hottest setting they have barely registers on a scale. They would be kids wings at BWW! By the time my meal arrived the Beatles Back in the USSR was playing so I stopped looking for connections and ordered a Caipirinha. Don't know who put the mix tape together, but I like them. The tortillas were really good. Five pieces of crispy tostada covered in diced steak, guacamole, sour cream, fried onions and tomato. Very generous serve for an entree and this was enough to satisfy my appetite so I never got around to ordering a main. Ordered a nice tequila instead to finish and a shot of sangrita to go with it. I hadn't noticed they had a cocktail on the menu with the same name but luckily the waiter checked with me if this was what I wanted. I told him no, and gave him my preferred recipe; tomato juice, Tabasco and pepper which was delivered to my table in a shot glass as requested. Really good, authentic Mex at a reasonable price. And they also make a mean Caipirinha.
