I had been eyeing her creations for months on Instagram and jumped at the chance to order for my own birthday (putting in my request two months early, "just in case"). It was EVEN BETTER than expected - and I had high expectations based on how beautiful these cakes are online. Great Vegan cakes! Tried "Flavors of India" and "Matcha Pistachio" and both are very good. Not super sweet. Great taste and very moist. Neither is strongly flavored. From the description, we wanted "Flavors of India", but it wasn't being offered in 4" size, so we got a couple orders of slices, which was nice. I think next time we'll get a 4" and not worry about which flavor it is. The flavoring is quite subtle. Please note this is a home baker working out of the kitchen in a condo in a San Mateo neighborhood. You'll have to order on-line at least a few days ahead, (safest to order a week ahead), prepay on-line through paypal or venmo with the owner's help, and pick up at an appointed time. There is no open storefront or store clerk waiting for your call. The owner is handling it all herself and you'll need to be patient with back and forth e-mail/text/phone communications to make the arrangements for a cake. read more

We recently ordered not one, but two, different cakes for our daughter's birthday. She has an egg allergy and so we were looking for a Vegan baker. An added plus were that some of the cakes incorporated Indian ingredients (pistachio, cardamom, rose water, etc) which we knew would be a hit with our family. The cakes were AMAZING! Despite being a "Yelper" for over 15-years, it's unusual for me to write a review unless I've received exceptional customer service or a meal, in this case a cake, that I cannot forget about because it was so delicious and memorable. Last minute, my friend asked me to bring a vegan cake to a birthday celebration. Ordered the carrot halwa cake and this is carrot halwa on fire! Cake texture is lovely with a great crumb and just the right amount of moisture and balanced flavor. The frosting itself is something not to be missed. I liked this even more than a traditional buttercream (you will not miss all the butter) as it's light and flavorful and has a great mouthfeel. I am new to the Vegan world, and have been working on adjusting my diet to a more Whole Food Plant Based diet. I was so blown away, I responded immediately, and we agreed to the date, and time. I picked up my beautiful cake, and it was as I had imagined. Her cake was as beautiful as all her instagram photos. Not only did it look beautiful, it was the most delicious cake I have eaten from a baker. It was moist, very tasty, not over sweet, and smelled delicious. The frosting was made of whipped coconut cream. WOW!!! Not only was I blown away, my husband and daughter couldn't believe it was Vegan. They loved it!!!
