The people that worked in the shop were super friendly and helpful. We bought a fair trade scarf and some tea. Everything is nicely labeled to tell you where the products are made. These shops are a great way to support the work of Oxfam as well as getting unique gifts for that special someone.

I took a day trip to Girona as part of a tour package from Barcelona. We walked by this cute…read morelittle store during a tour of Girona and decided to come back during some down time. Some artwork displayed in the storefront was what initially caught my eye when we had walked by earlier. This is probably one of the cutest stores that I came across while in Spain. They had jewelry, candy, and I think some bath stuff too. I was mainly distracted by the locally-made jewelry. They sold necklaces, bracelets, and earrings that each had unique prints. Then one of the chicks that worked at the shop told us that the prints came from medieval books. I thought that was super cool! I thought everything was fairly priced. They even wrapped each necklace that I bought! I would definitely come back if I'm ever in Girona again!

They also sell accessories such as necklaces and bracelets (for men and women). You can ask for a personalized engraving in several items, which is nice. The shop owner is nice and available. I was surprised by the vast selection in both men's and women's as well as the price point ranging from €30- about €120. There was a lot to choose from what ever your budget. As a swimmer in the states, the swim section was 3 or 4 times larger then California and I was impressed. If I had more room In my suitcase I would have stocked up. I ended up buying hiking shoes and some running socks which came to about €60. Which I thought was good!

They also serve the best patatas bravas (spicy potatoes) in the town. In summer there is a large terrace outside where you can eat and drink and in winter there is a large interior including a proper glassed-off non-smoking area (important in Spain if you don't like to eat and smell smoke at the same time!). On a Sunday people come to play cards, watch the football on TV or play on the table football and it is a very relaxed atmosphere.
