As an AirBnB renter, I appreciated having this store close by. Prices seemed reasonable, and…read morethough the store is small by US standards, it had plenty of things to stock a kitchen for a few days of cooking. Produce was fresh, and there was a good selection of regional cheeses. If you can get over to the local market (Les Halles), that's where you'll find amazing meats and cheese and chocolates (all a bit pricey), but Carrefour is quick and convenient. Bring or purchase bags to carry your stuff in. And remember ... eggs aren't in the refrigerated cases here. They've also got a decent selection of beer.

Grab a drink, a baguette, maybe some cheese and a pastry or two and hit the road! They have a book section with lots of road maps and they also carry utilitarian items like padlocks, paper towels, toiletries, and basically everything a traveler spending 2 weeks in France could ever need. English is sparse but the layout and process are easily figured out. Some smaller American bank debit cards won't process so be sure to have a bit of cash if you use a Credit Union. Bank of America was fine though. Easy to get to, lots of variety and as I said, a traveler's helper for sure!
