Schuh has always been best for me in this respect as they have a lot of stock and a lot of styles. There stuff is a bit pricey, but their shoes are decent quality. My only gripe is that Schuh is often understaffed and you are often waiting ages on a pair of shoes from the stockroom. Which sucks for the staff.

They're made of various materials that are affixed to your feet using a system of laces, straps, or other such thing to stop them from not being on your feet. They're great! Ok, I give up. Go to Schuh to get shoes. Just try not to get startled by the person hiding just inside the shopping waiting to jump out and say hello to you. If you manage to get past this person, it's a pretty good place to get shoes...

She and all staff are trained podiatrists Firstly you complete a brief basic questionnaire and then Brenda thoroughly checked my feet, ankles & toes and measured my feet both in a sitting & standing position. Then I stood on a machine which measured pressure points on both feet via infrared technology & then there was a further piece of equipment which carefully produces a three dimensional computer image of the required arch supports. Once the order was placed I am told it will be 2 to 3 weeks for them to arrive in the store & they'll call me to collect them, as they are manufactured in their lab in the US. Overall a very efficient and friendly service.

They have all sorts of nice boots, heels and sandals, flat and high-heels, casual and dressy. I got lured in by the 40%-off sign in the window and found really nice ankle-boots. But as is often the case, the pair you fall in love with is not on sale! Why do shop always do this? Why?
