I've read the multitude of negative reviews and have no reason to doubt the veracity of the…read morereviewers. I just want to say that my wife and I had a very pleasant experience at the La-z-boy store at North Point Mall. Our salesman was patient and thorough and fully informed us before we order about the probable lengthy delay for delivery. Whether is was due to Covid or other supply chain issues, we were not broadsided. Then after delivery, we had an small issue the the recliner mechanism. We called the company and a repairman was dispatched and the problem was corrected within a few days. So, not every customer will have our experience, but we're very satisfied and would have no issue in using the company again.

So La-Z-Boy has a lifetime warranty so they claim. Their lifetime warranty is a sham. Despite…read moretheir own ads stating how they fixed someone's chair after "51 years " they weasel out of it (link to ad claiming 51 years https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19m29Zz3ae/?mibextid=wwXIfr " Their response to my claim (one of the metal bars holding up foot rest snapped in 2) "The limited lifetime warranty is defined as coverage for the expected life of the product and applies only to defects in materials or manufacturing. Given the age of your unit, it has surpassed its expected product lifespan. Any issues at this point are considered normal wear and tear, which are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty" So "lifetime" is not lifetime but rather whatever age until it breaks at which point it's at the end of the life of the product. Lifetime is based on what they believe the product lifespan should be. Recliner is 20 years old but I paid 10x the price of the cheapest recliner because it was supposed to be a lifetime warranty.
