There were only old fashioned donuts and maybe two dozen cake donuts in the case along with their breakfast croissants and kolaches. The owner and his wife were incredibly nice and working hard to make/fry donuts for people coming in and out. My order was fairly large (4 dozen-- 2 dozen glazed and 2 dozen mixed) so I didn't mind waiting. They had to fry and then ice the donuts while it was hot, so I know the icing was more melted than usual. I still really appreciated how hard they worked to get everything out and ready. Everyone at work said the donuts tasted great! Will certainly come here again in the future and give them a heads up the day before so they can have some time to prepare it for the day of!

The iced with sprinkles was beyond fluffy. It almost melted in my mouth. Chocolate cake was moist and the chocolate topping did not taste too sweet or artificial. The apple fritter was delicious. It was crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and had the perfect amouny of apple filling. The owner even threw in a free donut hole for us.

They don't have a website, but some very outdated Facebook page confirmed that their hours today should have been until 1:00pm. I finally was able to find an Instagram page that appeared to be more or less up to date and indicated that Monday was the one day they close at noon. They should probably both update their TGTG app listing and their own front door.

He spoke to me in Chinese and asked me what I liked and gave recommendations about his offerings. What stood out to me were the Boudin kolache and bacon and sausage kolaches. The bread here around the fillings is very airy and fluffy and subtly sweet-- exactly what you want in a kolache. The fillings of most kolaches come in both mild and spicy versions. I recommend the spicy of every kolache as the spice is not too unbearable. The donut that I had was not the best blueberry cake doughnut I've ever had. It had a bit of a off or old oil taste that I noticed while I was eating the doughnut. On top of that, the blueberry flavor was not that pronounced. What I did like about the donut is that it had great texture-- was crispy on the outside while still remaining fluffy and light on the inside. The donut holes were by far my favorite thing. They were light and perfectly not too sweet. I could literally eat a dozen or two of these at a time. While the shop itself is not the most clean, this can be forgiven as you can tell that it is aone-man operation. I will certainly be back and I look forward to trying more of his spicy and mild kolache and his good variety of donuts.

The owner is a sweet old man from Cambodia and he took the time to chat with me and make us feel like valuable customers. I got the boudin kolache (amazing! with a bit of spice), sausage and cheese kolache (not my personal favorite - it was a bit bland and too doughy, but overall not bad), and the donut holes (deliciously crisp exterior with a soft and chewy interior that was perfectly sweetened).
