Tomo is a great lunch spot with many nice special lunch options. We had the sashimi and nigiri lunch set (#4), and it was excellent. Unsurprisingly, the nigiri was made correctly like in Japan with wasabi between the fish and rice. There are many donburi dishes on the menu that I hope to try sometime as well as small dishes like at an izakaya. I really liked and recommend the chicken karaage and kimchi. The decor inside the restaurant reminds me of a restaurant in the countryside of Japan with manekineko, tanuki, wooden wall menus in Japanese, and more. It's certainly a cozy spot when you want real Japanese food.

They market them as the spiciest wings in Hannover and they probably are. The beef bao bun had a really good flavor but I didn't think the whole thing was going to be fried. Not a fan of frying the whole thing but the inside was good. Decent edamame. The beetroot ice cream and the butternut squash ice cream was really great. This restaurant has many vegetarian and vegan options. And they clearly labeled all allergens which is helpful. My friend got some sushi rolls and the banana dessert. Sushi was good enough and the dessert was apparently really good. Service was pretty decent as well and they are open on sundays which is really convenient since not many places are.
