It's tough to find nice plants this late in the season especially after the extreme heat we've had and lack of rain. I didn't see anyone around but saw a sign indicating where to pay. I walked around the area and into several of the greenhouses but still saw nobody. I googled the business and decided to call them. The owner answered the phone as he was off property. He said they had closed early due to the heat. He was very kind and polite. I had not noticed the "closed " sign since everything was so open with tons of plants sitting outside. He offered to take my credit card number over the phone so I was able to pay for the plants I had picked out. I will definitely return...probably in early fall for some more plants.

My girlfriends and I were downtown last week for dinner talking about some of our favorite places…read moreto visit in the area. I mentioned how difficult it was to find a breakfast place that did not have a wait on the weekends. A lovely couple next to us introduced themselves as they were leaving the restaurant as Bill and Susan and recommended we visit the Third Day Market kitchen and bakery on Saturday morning. They spoke so highly of the place we asked if they owned it and they replied no, but that they were lucky enough to work there. We decided to follow thier advice and had breakfast. We enjoyed three different breakfast bowls and one of us chose an early lunch of turkey and avocado sandwich with the soup of the day, roasted red pepper. All meals were delicious and the service was lovely; from the girls behind the counter to our new friend Bill who was in the kitchen and brought us our order when we sat outside. The market outside of town is under some improvements that we can't wait to see when completed, and our visit was so nice we returned that afternoon to have ice cream that is brought down from the Amish in PA. The whole experience was quaint, delicious, and super friendly. We can't wait to go back!
