So we spent a few days in Le Man's to experience the 24hr race days. We rented a house nearby and…read morenoticed this Japanese restaurant. We decided to enjoy a dinner here. We were warmly greeted and seated. Language was not a problem, I do speak French OK bit not perfect, our server was very friendly and forgiving with my mistakes. I ordered miso, mixed yakitori, dumpling, and a sushi roll. The miso came quickly and tasted very good. The dumpling were expertly cooked and filled generously with meat and veg, very tasty. The yakitori plate was a mix of beef, pork, chicken, and meat and cheese. This too was expertly cooked and probably some of the best yakitori I have eaten in Europe. I got a salmon and avocado roll. First think I noticed is their sushi rice is a bit more pungent than I've experienced. I found this very delightful and a welcome change. The salmon and avocado were incredibly fresh and tasty. If you are visiting the Le Man area I would highly suggest stopping by and enjoying a meal or two here. You won't be disappointed.
