I hired a local company to stain our backyard deck in the summer of 2024. The following summer, I put up a pool and built a small pool deck, and I wanted to stain it to match the original backyard deck.

The store manager, Michael, was incredibly helpful. He spent a lot of time with me, explaining the proper mechanics of how a deck should be stained. He walked me through how to remove the failing product and re-stain the surface correctly, adding a crucial prep step using their Revive product. Not only did Michael provide the product to remove the old stain, but he also gave me four gallons of new stain to replace the bad batch under the Sherwin-Williams warranty.
