Marcus Gowens & Tamara Gowens were very compassionate and understanding. The injury never actually healed and therefore I was stuck in consistent pain. They sent me to medical care and that alleviated some of the pain, but it never went away and my life was not fun or active anymore. I was able to get some relief from ESI's and waited for over 2 years to feel "good & healthy". The employees with the firm were very nice and worked hard to get me what was needed to continue care, & paid medical bills until the settlement. It was obvious from the start that this was going to be a long and very involved journey as my wife's recuperation was going to take at least a year. Mikel and his terrific paralegal (Kelley) jumped right in to see to it that we weren't bombarded with medical bills or any of the hassles of dealing with insurance as it was obvious that even our own insurance carrier was going to try to low-ball us on our totaled vehicle and rush us through the claims process. Mikel and his staff made sure all we had to worry about was getting my wife back to good health. Mikel got us three times as much for my wife's old Explorer as the insurance wanted to offer and ONLY after all the medical rehab was cleared up, did we get down to the medical part of the settlement to make sure nothing got left out of the claim. Mike was able to straighten out the muddy insurance issues (turned out the other driver had insurance through her X-Hubby) and he was able to leverage a max settlement against both our insurance and hers and secured an excellent settlement for my wife.
