I couldn't believe how many Indian restaurants were there in Innsbruck. This place has good reviews on google and we decided to check it out Food was amazing!! I would say mango, tamarind and tomatoes sauce tastes well and mango lassi is also okay. Dough of the momo are not well steam and cooked. Noodles tastes good and recommendable if you visit there. Place was empty, being a week day; bit to-go orders kept rolling in. Apparently restaurant fills up over weekends. Ordered Masala Chai (could use a tad more kadhak), Pakora, Chole, Paneer Pasanda, Rita, Roti and Rice (which accompanied the mains). Food arrived promptly and was fresh - warning however; ordered Chole spicy, and regretted it as it came doused with raw chili powder (almost inedible due to the heat). Typically the extra heat needs to be cooked in for a while and balanced out to prevent the searing tastes. Amit was kind enough to offer a Mango Lassi to temper the Chole's spicy heat. Else the food was tasty and the masalas seemed freshly made. A tad bit disappointed that we were charged 4 EUR for a small bowl of Raita abd an additional 3 EUR for onions and chilis, which are typical accompaniments for any North Indian meal. The meal was not cheap, at 55 EUR for two (given no meat or alcohol)...but the place is worth a visit as the Uttarakhand/Pahadi food is bound to satisfy (just don't order spicy). Service was excellent. A further note of caution - don't wear your finest clothes as the mustard oil smell tends to cling long after you exit.

For those who are not fully conversant in Austrian-German cusinine vocabulary we herewith repeat the dishes we tried in German just for their recognition in the menu card. Among the dishes we tried were: Krautsalat, Safran-Schnecken-Risotto, Kokos-Curry Linsen zum Doradenfilet, Gamsragout, Kastanienrisotto, Pistanzieneis mit luftiger Zimt-Schokolade, Kalbstartar mit Wachtelei auf Auberginen-Carpaccio, Zuckerhutsalat mit gerösteten Mandeln und Mandarinen and a number of other dishes which we felt were new and surprising. It was not surprising to us as we had interviewed the two chef ladies several times before to find out that they love what they do and they find on their several trips to European capitals, to African Islands or to Asia lots of inspiring ideas which they translate into very good dishes accomodating their usual audience. Presentation is always excellent, the service is impeccable and the ladies at all times try to outperform. Remarkable is always the menu of the day which comes at a price cclose to € 10 or below without a drink or bread. What we like and find remarkable beside each dish's quality is the innovative environment in which they operate and always create new compositions of various herbs, textures and ingredients. It is accesible high mark eating out and always best value for money. At the same time it is familar, down-to-earth with no hurdles to overcome. The address is right, the parking garage underneath makes a visit easy and from their you can stroll into the city-centre of Innsbruck which is only seconds away. Try it and express your wishes which we be fulfilled. We look forward to our next trip.
