This branch of Shelter is good, but not as exciting as some other charity shops I've visited, it stocks a small selection of second hand items but to be honest, most of the items stocked here are brand new, they even have a rack with new shoes and sandals. In addition to this they also have a toy section where all the toys and gadgets are brand new.
The exciting part are the second hand goodies which have tonnes more character and you never know what you may find. They have an excellent range of books and when I popped in I noticed a rather yummy looking chocolate recipe book that looked good enough to eat and it was only £1. In addition to this they had a section at the back of the shop displaying a variety of interesting looking wall clocks and there were a few that I really liked.
The staff are friendly in this branch and it has a relaxed atmosphere as well as pretty good music playing which makes browsing all the more enjoyable. read more
I love browsing around this shop. It's really well laid out with plenty of room to notice things without having to rummage. There are generally more women's things here than mens, like a lot of charity shops, but I have seen some really good mens clothes here too.
The window display here often has a lot in it - worth standing outside and having a look for a while. read more
