I purchased gas here and the next day, which would be today, my credit card had a $200 hold on it. Please explain why there is a $200 hold on it. The representative told me that it wasn't fraud and placed the report as such.
The rep for Credit One attempted to tell me how this was a normal practice and I told her you're repeating the same thing does not clarify and I'm not other people so don't compare me to other folks. You're being condescending to me. I'm not stupid. In order for them to replace this card, the lady told me that there can be no fraud on the account. I've never heard of that explicative before. It sounded as if she was making up her own rules, which really pissed me off. This gas station likely had a skimmer on the machine and now there's a $200 hold on my account for $25 gas. I've never heard of or seen a large hold for that small of a gas charge. Make it make sense
Being a person of color, I'm not going to say anything to the station, lest I get banned for calling attention to fraud and who the hell spends $200 for gas? Go a head and explain, I'll wait. I'll file a police report. read more
