They're probably doing it as a commitment to the community, for the love of the business, and a sense of pride. A cup of joe, a good bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll for three bucks, a donut with bacon on it, just because the maple frosting wasn't unhealthy enough. Fantastic. He has a real issue with white people. He always gives me an attitude before I even say anything. I've observed this behavior with other white patrons as well. If a black or Hispanic customer comes in he is super friendly and starts small talk with them. If the customer is white...he acts as though you are bothering him and he wants you out of the store. He makes me very uncomfortable and his attitude is jarring.
