Great price! When you are in a need of petrol with reasonable price comparatively, go to this petrol station. It always served my needs of lower cost petrol when everywhere else already increase their price. read more

BP

What? It's a business, I can review it if I see fit. This is literally the last business I…read morepatronised and I feel like reviewing something... and it sure beats writing that assignment I keep meaning to get onto before remembering the internet. Uhhhhh so, as is the case with most BPs, this one has petrol, but it also has gas pumps which is great if you were a big enough chump to listen to the government when they were lying to us about how we should all convert our Honda Civics into gas powered pussymobiles. In addition there is a car wash attached, which is great if you took your gas powered pussymobile off road and got it covered in mud, dust, leaves and the entrails of that troupe of boy-scouts you hit but pretended not to notice. Yeah those little merit patches stuck in your wipers will come off with those giant swishy brushes but the smudge on your soul is there for ever and nothing will get rid of that. Except maybe two cans of Mother for six bucks, or a massive discount on some random failed confectionery concept. BP has these things and more ... In terms of a local convenience store it is both local and convenient, but I guess that really depends on where you live and what you're hoping to buy. Like if you live in Greensborough and you're after a late night bathroom renovation, Swan street's BP is neither local nor convenient. But a Big M on the way home last night was not beyond their capacity and I'm glad because sometimes a girl needs artificially flavoured strawberry milk and waking up your housemates at 2am to ask if anyone has Nesquik will usually not get you any Nesquik and also get you evicted. Megafail. I just remembered that one time i went there to buy yesterday's paper, and the bitch behind the protective barrier made me pay. For a day old paper!! Even Baker's Delight gives you a discount on day old stock and they're assholes. Suddenly the protective barrier made sense. I still managed to poke a semi-automatic through the cables though so then again not really. Conclusion: buy your own Nesquik, get evicted, or give Swan st BP a try. Seriously, whichever, I don't care.

It was consistent at least which is hard to say about some local cafes. These guys also have clearance specials quite regularly, sell Zymil (lactose free milk) & $10 quilton toilet paper for emergencies. They also tend to be a tad cheaper than some of the petrol stations on Hoddle.. I don't know why one street can have 5 different petrol prices! Anyways these guys are the best. Go here. Do it!

I realize reviewing a Petrol/Service station is a little...unorthodox. But then so is Dayef…read more At first glance it is a similar elk to its Supermarket linked compeditors. And it is. I mean how different can you make a petrol outlet? Its the little things that bring me here time and time again despite having to drive an extra few minutes. To start with, the unleaded petrol here is usually ever so slightly cheaper. Not enough to cross Melbourne for, but enough to lure me in. Once in I was impressed by the small car wash and vaccum and air station. However what I am most thankful for is when I go to pay for my petrol, I dont get hassled to purchase 2 of anything or offered deals. All the usual service station offerings are available here but Im not alone in thinking that it's the little extra touches here that win over us customers. Exit slowly as there is a hidden bumped on the footpath!

This Caltex often offers "two for one" pricing specials/deals on various junk food and sugary drinks. It has very basic grocery stock if you need to grab something in a hurry. Otherwise it sells magazines, newspapers, drinks, and the afore- mentioned assortment of confectionery, chips, chocolate bars, and various caffeinated liquid sugar beverages. Staff here rotate, but all are helpful. It also sells the regular servo paraphernalia. It can take quite some courage to surmount the correct tact and diplomacy to correctly enter this service station when it is "pumping" ha, ha a joke for all of you! When it is busy I mean. When you are needing to fill up. A lot of the time cars can be in all different directions, and there is generally a lot of honking, tooting, reversing and general confusion, in not only getting in here, but out. Many a time cars can be in multiple directions all trying to use the entry/exit points at once, simultaneously.

Good thing I did too, because I've found a ripper. I chose Paradise because a friend of mine had been there and said they were great. My experience with them was pleasant and painless. I dropped the car off in the morning (it is conveniently located not too far from Hallam railway station) and headed off to work. That evening when I collected my car, the service had been carried out as I expected and the price was very reasonable given my previous experiences at Holden. Charlie was very friendly and has a no-nonsense attitude and gave me a few tips on looking after my ride. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will certainly be going back there for my vehicles future maintenance/repair requirements.
