Parts prices here are similar to Pick-A-Part (depending on what you're getting). Others are slightly cheaper or more expensive. The car selection is good here for imported cars, and Aussie Fords as well. They also group them into sections in a more organised fashion than Pick-A-Part. They're organised into: Holden, Toyota, Ford, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Honda and Hyundai/Kia/Ssangyong. Then, at the back corner, there is just: European and 4WDs as well. They also have a 'desirable' section just to the left of the entrance, for cars that they think are likely to be popular. Staff are mostly good in my experience but again YMMV. Their website sucks though, they do not have a stock database anymore, so you need to keep track on their Facebook page, which can get difficult. Parking is pretty good, Public Transport access is okay, compared to both Pick-A-Parts. The 901 SmartBus runs right outside. If only Campbellfield Station on the Upfield Line would reopen, that would make it perfect. I would happily come back here if I knew the part I needed was likely to be there.

No pressure - no BS lines of excuse - just great friendly people who were extremely helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They arranged the RWC on the spot, so I could take the car with me immediately, and when we got in to drive home, I was pleasantly surprised at the full tank of fuel they had put in, which was not there when we test drove earlier. I would highly recommend a visit to this yard if you are looking for a second hand car.

Good thing I did too, because I've found a ripper. I chose Paradise because a friend of mine had been there and said they were great. My experience with them was pleasant and painless. I dropped the car off in the morning (it is conveniently located not too far from Hallam railway station) and headed off to work. That evening when I collected my car, the service had been carried out as I expected and the price was very reasonable given my previous experiences at Holden. Charlie was very friendly and has a no-nonsense attitude and gave me a few tips on looking after my ride. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will certainly be going back there for my vehicles future maintenance/repair requirements.

Unluckily for them, they wouldn't budge on the listed price (not even a dollar), so onto Hyundai it was. I enquired on the price of an i20, and asked if they could match a price I'd seen online, I took it for a spin, price was matched on an in-stock model, my bank paid them on cup day, cleared within a day and bang, just like that I have a brand spanking new (8kms on the clock) metallic grey 3 door i20 5 days later. The service was great from the get go, not too pushy (although there was a lady that did try & sell me on a paint protection & tinting package, and the finance guy was edging towards using their own finance), friendly, answered any questions I had and all contact was in a timely manner. Highly recommend visiting Hyundai and speaking to Riccardo if you're in the market for a new car! I've been jean shopping that was harder than this!

Girl who answered the phone to start with was quite rude and the conversation did not get any better from that point on. I was advised that they would not be able to look at the vehicle until next Thursday (6 days). When it comes to a safety issue on the road -v- a standard service, I would have thought a little more priority would be given to a safety issue. RACV report was obtained and stated 'Power steering FAULTY, LOCKS UP - Drive at OWN RISK'. This is not the first time I have had an issue with the rudeness of staff at Hyundai Essendon but it certainly will be the last. My daughter's last car was purchased from Hyundai Essendon and salesman was great ! Very friendly and not pushy at all. The dramas started with the service department. Disgusted and definitely would not go back. Rang another Hyundai dealership and they were very concerned about the issue and couldn't do enough to help.

I asked for $200 discount he denied saying don't want to cut the corners. I told him to not to start repair until deal with Warranty company. But later on find out another repairer can fix the whole new engine in just $2700. I went back to take my car back then he charged me $280 again for the coolant and changing filters and engine oil for which he already charged me with in $1400 bill at first instance. When I asked for clarification for extra charges he became very abusive and physically assault me. Finally I called police and relive my car after paying illegitimate charges of $280. Friends be careful before you go there because at the first time staff will sound like very friendly but thy will cut your pocket in a way you won't believe. Even if you think to go their better check prices with other Mechanics. The Most Dodgy people I have ever seen in my life. Finally my car is in perfect running condition and I paid $2000 less to other repairer. Parts replaced were on the bench when I picked up the car. Smart, sharp French guy who has good knowledge of the Benz. I was surprised on how confident he was about his work and my car did feel much smoother after service. I will take my car to them from now on.. Being a girl it's not easy to trust a mechanic, I must admit I was happy to see the old filters and parts before paying my bill..
