Today the regular unleaded is $1.75. Murphy USA and the Brother's gas station (located less than a couple of miles away) compete with their gas prices. The only issue I've had here is sometimes the credit card reader at the pump doesn't work. If the inside of the store is closed, you'll have no choice but to give your business to the competition.

There's a gas station directly across the street that I try to avoid, mostly because of the pan handlers or some company set up there trying to sell me a 'car wash' in a can. Not to mention someone trying to sell me a CD (who still uses those?) or some cologne that I am unsure what fragrance it actually smells like. The prices here are typically the fairest I'm able to find. It's usually a toss up between this location and the brothers on Elysian Fields and 610, but they've gotten really bad with not keeping paper in the machines. Yes, it does smell a bit off inside, I'm not sure what it was either. The main convenience is the gas, which is on the cheaper side of the average price for the area. But, unless you are heading east on West Esplanade, you will have to make a U-turn to get into this spot. It is easy access in and out. The convenience store is well stocked with all of your basic necessities.
