Took my car to HSM auto for a minor service, my car was in great working order. When I arrived…read morethey claimed that my car was booked in for the next day, even though when I rang the previous day they had told me to bring it in "tomorrow". They didn't call me until 5.30pm, when they told me that my drivers window was no longer working and I'd have to pay to get it fixed, and that it had been making an awful noise, which it hadn't, it was working perfectly that morning. They also said that the boots on the cv joint were split. When I examined the cv joint boots I can see that one side is in perfect condition, and the other side has a cut in it that is consistent with being cut, with fresh grease coming out but no dirt built up on it, like it has happened very recently, and no actual wear or splitting on the rest of the boot. They also claimed that my tyres were bald on the right side, and asked what I'm going to do about that, when in fact the tyres are not bald or unroadworthy. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It was bought by new owners about a year and a half ago.
