This station's location is a gold mine. It's literally the first gas where the Florida Turnpike ends into US1 south to the Keys. Prices are generally higher than discount brand stations. But, if you have Fuel Rewards, then prices are similar. The pumps are on elevated cement. I assume this is to protect them from a vehicle hitting them. If you have a really low car, it makes pumping gas a bit awkward. read more

The only really important thing to say about this gas station is that there is a Dunkin' Donuts inside of the Shell. Other than that, it's a gas station. It's large. It's a perfect location where US1 begins into the Florida Keys. It's a big gas station and right at the intersection so it's busy and traffic is usually robust there. But again, if you want a Dunkin' run, you've got to stop here. I did. The inside of the gas station is pretty typical to any regular gas station you'd encounter in any given location. While it's inventory isn't as varied as the nearby fuel stops, the prices on fuel are usually competitively priced. You'll see your basic options when it comes to refreshments and snacks so don't get your expectations too high. Anything is better than going through the Cardsound Road without fuel so don't skip it when running low. Paying at the pump is easy and doesn't require going inside to the cashier. I found the outdoor pump area to be well lit even at the late hour I passed by at which made it a safe spot to fuel up without any concerns. The lack of availability on many items makes this place one of the least best stops to make. The shelf life on most of their chips seemed to be questionable so keep that in mind when choosing this location. If all you need is gas and you earn Shell points for your purchases, then maybe it's the spot for you. read more

This gas station has very bad service. I highly do not recommend that gas station. The people there are extremely rude.

No public bathrooms. The inside is run down and in need of a freshen up. They have marie fuel if you need it. A drive thru for dunkin doughnuts. Other than that, it's a gas station with brand name doughnuts. A better Racetrac station is just down the road. read more

The only thing that could make this station more convenient is if the store had a drive thru window. If you are on the way to the keys, this is your best stop before hitting the stretch. Sure, there is plenty to choose from on this 1/4 mile section of US1. But this station has: 1) Easy reentry unto the highway, being right after the traffic light and with a merge lane. 2) Diesel 3) Plenty of pumps, room to turn around and a side street exit/entrance (important for those towing boats) 4) Pretty decent bathrooms 5) Glass bottled coke read more

Restrooms were disgusting and mgr is nasty and rude as well. Plenty of better stations in the area where they appreciate their customers. Lot is congested and hard to get out back onto the highway during all but the slowest traffic times. read more

Just stopped here for gas on the way to the keys. The guy working there tonight was really helpful and had an awesome attitude. The excellent customer service alone is enough to make this the best gas stop on the way down to the keys. There is a Dunkin' Donuts, and as the other reviewer said it is really easy to get on and off Highway 1. read more
