She even went up and above to find a mobile repair company to come look at our wiring for the camper so we could continue home. She said we could park across the street where the semi's park if we needed and I asked her if we do that we may need to take showers and asked her the cost and she not to worry tell they I said the showers are taken care of. Luckily, we were able to go the next exit and had assistance from one of the volunteer firemen( because the mobille repair wanted $400 just to come look at the issue)Jerry was able to splice the wires back together without hooking them up to the external battery so we had lights on the camper so we could get home. So again, a big thank you to Kris and Jerry from the fire dep. You guys are the best and myself and my friend Mark are so thankful for help, it shows there are good people still out there!

This place is huge, bright & clean with the best restrooms! We had a late lunch at our friends' house and stayed awhile catching up. By the time we got to Buc-ee's we were hungry again. We bought a BBQ Turkey Sandwich, BBQ Brisket Sandwich, Chicken Tenders with fries and 2 Bucee's Chips, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Coconut Cream Pudding. Everything was excellent! The staff are very friendly and hospitable!

The store was clean, everything was well stocked, and even with plenty of people coming through, the service was fast and organized. That's one thing I like about Buc-ee's. They can be extremely busy but somehow keep everything moving. I got the North Carolina BBQ sandwich, and I loved it. My wife enjoyed hers too. The food is one of the main reasons we stop at Buc-ee's instead of a regular gas station. There are so many options, and I really like seeing the new food and snack choices they continue to put out. Every time we stop, it seems like there is something different to try. The selection of Buc-ee's snacks, popcorn, crackers, jerky, sweets, and other items makes it hard to walk out with only what you came in for. Another thing I love is the cheap fountain drinks. When you're traveling and making several stops along the way, it's nice being able to grab a big drink without paying ridiculous prices. Of course, the bathrooms are another huge plus. They were clean and well maintained, which is something Buc-ee's has built its reputation on and one of the reasons it makes such a good road trip stop. Plenty of gas pumps, clean facilities, good food, tons of snacks, quick service, and just about anything you could need while traveling. Buc-ee's is more than a gas stop for us. It's usually part of the road trip. We'll definitely continue stopping whenever there's one along our route.

However, I was excited to come here because the price of the gas seemed unbelievable. Sure enough the price was higher by $0.10 but was still a better bargain than anywhere around. I asked the attendant about the price which was featured on GasBuddy app and she said the price was changed only one hour earlier but that people flock to this station from all over the country because the owner wants to be the low cost leader. Of that I'm sure this place can be proud of! Five stars. On the other hand, everything else about this place is a little off: First, it's about 1.5 miles from I75 and you'll pass some gas stations on the way, so it's inconvenient to come here just to save a save a buck or two; and, Secondly, people were allowed to smoke inside the station, which is another large strike against them. Finally, the concessions store was also in need of a few upgrades. Two stars.

The entire room is lit by a single bare 40 watt bulb. It's every stereotype of a bad public restroom come to life. There's a "game room" which is a big, dark room full of video poker machines and a lot of shady characters hanging out in there. They let people smoke in there, and the whole place reeks of cigarette smoke. The employees don't wear masks. . . neither did any customer but me. They have cheap gas, but the whole place looks and feels cheap, and not in a good way. I couldn't imagine myself going back there in anything other than an emergency.
