The car is only driven around 700 miles a year if you are any good at math. When brake measurements are they are take at various spots on the pad. All brake pads wears at different rates. Take in to consideration tapered wear etc. obviously you never have done any mechanical work. Where the heck do you come up with elder abuse. If anybody got abused you did by your mechanic. Full rear brake job, not sure why the rotors could not be turned and for some reason they needed to balance all 4 tires at a rate of $60.00 Very upset that they did not call me as instructed to discuss the work before they started. Secondly, a couple months ago, they instituted a different price for cash and higher price for credit. (Sure, I understand that you need to recoup the interchange fee from credit cards, but you are ALREADY charging 20cents more than the other places!) I was a bit hesitant to pull in here, not knowing whether or not I'd be able to get fuel. Luckily the pumps were still up and working and they had a small makeshift building for paying with cash and small purchases. I pulled in, up to a pump, and paid at the pump. The prices for fuel were on par for the area. If fully functional, this would be a great stop. But seeing how my other need was not going to be met, I was on my way.
