When we drove by today I saw some people there, and I convinced D to stop there. It lived up to my expectations, I'm happy to say!! It's basically a giant digital vending machine that delivers whatever you request on a conveyor belt that's behind the ordering screen. The screen lifts up to reveal your purchases, and IT'S AMAZING! I will readily admit that I am amused by small things, and this amused me to no end!! I can't wait to go back and see how it handles a beer order. Yes, you can buy beer here, too! I've seen the price for a tire plug slowly increase over the years -but when compared to the price of purchasing a new tire -I ALWAYS WANT TO HUG THE GUY for saving me all that money !!! Well, ALMOST want to hug him! More than a Shell Gas Station: * This has been a neighborhood staple for FREE AIR! Yes, I did say: Free Air! * Full Service Gas! Do y'all know what this means? YOU STAY in the car (EVEN IN RAIN or SNOW) & they pump for you. I've NEVER used full service, but it's neat to see people still do this. * Auto Repair Shop (I've yet to use). * Very, very small store (bout the size of your average phone booth... Wait! -most of y'all don't know what that is either!) Well, you can grab a drink for the road here. *Friendly Service! (Footnote: Today while they were fixing my flat, a customer approached and told me, 'you know you can do that yourself. I plug my own tires at home!' He wanted me to give him card to take inside for refund which wasn't happening. He over double charged me and there's 6 charges on card I will fight him and his boss and corporate on legally. The attendant was very flippant about it and said their video cameras weren't working. I had to ask for the address to make the 911 call, no one working was really concerned or helpful at all. A man came inside while I was waiting for the police and said his card had been compromised by a skimmer at the pumps earlier in the day. Skip this one, unless you're in the mood to make a police report.

When I brought it to their attention, they refused to refund me and could not provide any signed paperwork or proof that I authorized a second membership. I was forced to file a claim with my credit card company. On top of that, the vacuums are frequently broken, the business hours are poor, the lines are long, and the automatic entry often fails. I visted this store in the afternoon on July 7th, 2023. My two transactions consisted of…read morepurchasing two lottery tickets and a candy bar. I was quite in a rush and realized I did not receive my change back. In hindsight I do recall the cashier displaying body language (hands folded) like this transacation is final. Just bringing awareness not to be in a rush like myself and allow this store to not give you your change back. For everyone who comes in there and does not say anything... the spare change the do not rightfully hand back to the customer adds up...to their benefit.
