They removed the option to pay for car wash on the app and you can't pay in the machine with a card either or cash. It says you have to go inside to pay like really? You think after being in line and then get to the front only to see those signs I will go back to pay inside and get back in line? The only reason I keep coming here is because it's so convenient (off the freeway) prices are decent and T-Mobile gives .10 cents to use on the fuels rewards app. I have experienced over a dozen of bad customer service from this place. If the owner reads this review please talk and train your employees to be courteous to customers. I basically experienced a young lady with long hair yelling and arguing with a customer for $3 while having a line of customers. She was so rude to this gentleman and one of her co workers a young male butted in and was also arguing with the customer. Recently joined the shell rewards program and this station has become my go to when i fill up. I'm personally a fan of chevron but Shell is a step up from Arco and its crucial to save in any way you can without having to forfeit quality. Its conveniently located off the 5 Freeway and easy stop for any commuter traveling north from Mexico or any local in the central San Diego region. Nothing really sets this place apart and raises the bar except for the fact that on average its one of the lower priced gas stations. They have a car wash which I've never used and also a small convent store with snacks, beer, soda, and other basic junk food items. read more

I discovered this Shell gas station about a year ago and what a find its been! This Shell location also has a convience store and car wash. The employees that work here are chill.Sometimes this location will offer a free beverage like a large Arizona Ice Tea or 1 gallon of Arrowhead drinking water with the purchase of a car wash! The main reason I like this place is because they offer the best prices on Shell gasoline anywhere in town.Sure you can get cheaper gas at the Arco down the street but Arco gas is a low grade fuel that does not burn as clean as Shell gas.The result:dirty fuel injectors,intake valves,and pistons meaning less power and fuel efficency all because someone wants to be cheap and save a nickle per gallon of fuel! Several small issues prevents me from giving this place 5 stars.The display screens on the gas pumps are getting hard to see due to all the scatches ingraved in it.No doubt the work of local bangers. Sometimes homeless people will hang out here all day and approach people asking if they want thier windows cleaned while they are pumping gas which can be a nuisance. My favorite is when some buster approaches me here with the line "my car ran out of gas and its down the street.Can you give me a couple dollars for gas"? I usually respond "how are you gonna get gas when you have no gas can"?That usually does the trick because then they know the jig is up.Well,what can you expect? Its Nasty City after all! Another issue too is that the air machine is always out of order. This Shell is usually quite a bit higher in gas price than the Arco down the street so i usually go there for my gas.......but i do come in here often for snacks and drinks, would be nice if they stayed open later but they close up and you cant get inside like at 9 or 10pm......kinda lame read more

Came here on 2/10/2014 for a car wash & once my family and I were through with the car wash we realized that the "dryer" was broken therefore did not dry the car at all. My step father went inside and spoke with the person in charge and instead of giving up our money back ($6) the employee Miguel insisted of hand drying our car. Overall, we let him hand dry our car. It wasn't perfect, but it did the job. Poor guy had to go through that rather than closing the faulty car wash. read more

I walked outside this morning, and discovered that the heathen kids where I live had thrown soda all over my white Astrovan, making it sticky, so it was necessary to take it to a car wash. This Shell station has a car wash, and it's very close to where I live. The store itself was clean, organized, and the clerk was very nice. For $6, I got a nice wash, and for that price, I may be a repeat once per month customer. I highly recommend. read more

Stopped by here after work. To fill up and I decided to get a car wash. I finished filling up and the printer did not print to give me a car wash code. When I went to the cashier the doors were locked and a sign was on the door. "10 min break BRB" I am now writing his bad review after 10 min of waiting. After a long day of work I just wanted to fill up, get a quick car wash and get home. If I wanted to wait For a real car wash I would have gone to a real car wash. Don't go too much to this gas station because of the service,I've been during the day and the girl who work there is very rude, If client ask for somenthing she doesn't care and doesn't listen, i've seen the cashier yelling a client outside and is not polite from a company like that has a very bad attitude, she get mad for nothing. This Shell is in a busy corner right before the 5 highway entrance. Usually this means higher gas rates. The large sign only indicates CASH price. It was really upsetting because the CASH sign is so small and CREDIT card prices are not displayed properly. Good luck leaving the gas station as most drivers won't allow you to squeeze in when turning left. There is a AM/PM down the street that is a lot cheaper. read more
