The cashier even came and looked at it and said oh you're right it is $2.09. But then continued to tell me that it was $2.49. So I was charged $2.49. Or I was almost charged I said no thanks and walked away. Not really about that extra change obviously it's more about the principal of the ethics of the station itself. Downstairs market is about 10 minutes from my work and I can see myself coming here often. It's inside a gas station. And you would least expect it but they have a ton of lunch options. It's a gas station which has a pretty good convenience store that caters to those who want subs, fresh baked goods, different coffee options etc. I ordered a big sub with tuna and fresh veggies on whole wheat bread. The sub was great and I was able to eat some for lunch as well as give the rest to Sam M to try. They had such good pastries that I could not say no to that. I got a guava and cheese one as well as apple pie kind. Both I reheated at home after a few hours and they still tasted excellent. I asked for guava only option as well, but the employee told me they sold that one out for the day. This place is a local favorite for quick pick up. For gas station food options, this place is a must. The employees are so nice as well. They were so sweet in making sure my sub was exactly how I wanted it. ~
