Traveling on a 4 day road trip and stopped here for gas. The gas station was great, easy in and plenty of spots. The convenience store was terrible. The restrooms were dirty and needed repairs. The clerk was very rude when we first walked in. I had our 4 pound dog in a blanket wrapped up so because it was raining and did want to leave it in the car. The attendant yelled when I first walked in " No animals". I was a little taken back. It's not posted anywhere and it's the only Chevron in 3 states that has had a problem with it. He could have been more polite and just asked. I'm sorry if you are having a bad day but being rude is uncalled for. I will never stop there again. read more

Yesterday evening I stopped at this shell to get my kids some treats for cleaning their room. Pulling in I hit a huge pothole. It was raining and the hole was filled with water so I didn't see it. But it's right in their drive and I went right into it. So the next day (today) I go to get in my car and realize that the edge of the pothole bent my rim and took a huge chunk out of my sidewall. So I went in to ask to speak with a manager. Simple right? Not so much. When I first walk in the woman behind the counter is on her cell spewing a steady stream of profanities. Not out of anger. She is just speaking to someone she knows the same way she would any given day. After a solid minute of me standing there waiting she hangs up and says "yeah?" First I politely ask if she is management. She says "no". Okay I say. So next i ask, is there a member of management available? Her response was "No. Why?" Then as i begin to respond she looks down at her ringing phone and holds a hand up to stop me from speaking. Picks up her phone and says, "Why the f***k you callin me on FaceTime?" She went on swearing loudly, speaking to someone about whether it was them or someone else using their Facebook to call her. Said she would call in a minute but had to go, then hung up. After that she checked out a guy who came up beside me and set his things down while she was on the phone. After he walked out she looked at me and said "what?" So again I began to explain that I had damaged my tire in their parking lot and was hoping to speak to a member of management about possible reimbursement. At this she began digging behind the counter no longer looking at me and said "nobody'll be here till after six tomorrow, but good luck. Ain't nobody gonna pay for that." Up to this point I had been more disgusted by this woman than anything. Now however I found myself somewhat annoyed. So I asked her. Do you know what property insurance is and what it is for? Her response was "No. Why? What should I for?" This is where I let my mouth get the better of me. My response was pretty simple. Just an observation that I could have kept to myself. I said. You aren't too smart are you. Her response was to start screaming "Get the f***k out several times at the top of her lungs." And of course she threatened to call the police. To which I simply said, please do. At this point i decided that it would be in my best interest to record this episode for my own protection. Physically and legally. As it was evident that this woman was very much unstable. She went to the back room where I could hear her make several phone calls. Swearing, calling me any number of names. At one point she looked out at me and yelled "get the f***k out!" Seemed to be her go to phrase. Meanwhile the other customers in the store exited without making their purchases. Knowing that the police were on the way I stepped out front of the market to wait. I explained the circumstances and what had transpired in detail to the police. The woman told them that I am not allowed on the property. Which is fine, After that nonsense I honestly had no intention of returning anyways. So I shook the officers hand, said have a good day, and drove away with a big chunk missing out of my tire. If I could give this place a half a star I would. read more

The station attendant was instructing customers to violate Oregon's no-self-service law by telling folks to get out of their cars and remove/hang up the fuel nozzle themselves. When I told him that what he was doing violated state law, he got hostile and threatening. VERY scary guy...in 45 years of living in Oregon, I've NEVER encountered a station attendant like that, nor have I EVER had an attendant telling customers to break the law. NOT OKAY. read more

Clearly discriminatory towards propane customers. Island attendant stated after watching 6 vehicles be fueled, at least two out of state, one or two from outside the area and then finally confronting her "We make more money selling gasoline than propane"... As a local who owns two business and a veteran it will be my duty to publicize these practices and no longer support this business. There is no signage at the propane station or anywhere else stating this policy. read more
