Attorney Sheldon Starke was referred by the Cleveland Bar Association as an attorney practicing Consumer Law. My initial contact with him was an unfavorable one. In my experience, Mr. Starke lacked professionalism and common courtesy. Upon answering the phone, he did not identify himself or his law practice. Furthermore his telephone demeanor left much to be desired. His volume and tone were offensive. Although my phone call was preceded by an email detailing my legal concerns, his questions reflected a lack of attention to detail. After I briefly restated my legal concerns, instead of answering my question, he directed me to contact another attorney. I'm glad this initial consultation was free since he ended the call abruptly. Mr. Starke's attitude seemed to lack empathy and respect for my situation as well as my time. read more
