They are ok if you don't setup auto draft for payments, just pay online. Also, you will sometimes get someone if you call that is a real smart___ but not every time. They lost my title once and I had to go through a nightmare to get another title. read more

Sheffield Financial doesn't believe in family. They refused to approve an application because a family member wasn't on it and wouldn't qualify even though my application was approved and I would have ownership of a family business. All the last names are the same, I qualify, I don't get it. I don't appreciate the bias and distrust Sheffield has for families that have just moved and are trying to make a living for themselves. Broken system. Don't use them. read more

Promised me a decent rate for a leftover boat, a few days after I agreed, they reneged and upped the rate because they didn't realize it was a leftover. Can't make this stuff up. Told them to shove it. read more

What can I say. I purchased a HD utility trailer from a Portland, Or company. There wasn't any choice for financing. I set up auto pay. They don't answer the phone most of the time. Paid it in full after one auto pay on August 4th. Never got the title. They said they hold them to make sure they get paid. I paid with a debit, which is paid immediately. I called and finally reached someone. They said the mailed the title on August 17th. Just a sleazy business. DO not use this company. The FEDS should investigate this grease ball company. read more

I got an ATV loan through them and all I can say is that I have NEVER had such a hard time getting people to take my money. Their website is so bad my work computer won't even allow it to open. Their app is so bad that all it does is tell you there is no connection. The only way I can even pay is via phone call. Absolutely horrendous. At 55 years old, this is BY FAR the worst banking institution I have dealt with. read more

The representative Kadesha needs a lot of training. I couldn't remember what my monthly payment is or the total financed amount so she couldn't authenticate my account and couldn't help me unlock my online profile. I then proceeded to ask for a manager, and she said she couldn't transfer me because she couldn't authenticate me. Kadesha, I highly recommend some training for ya sis! read more

BEWARE and take CAUTION before doing business with Sheffield. They're a terrible company to deal with and have TERRIBLE communication. They tried telling me my first payment was 7 days LATE when they haven't even sent me ANY information (billing statement) or welcome packet. How can I make a payment if I didn't even have the info?! Save yourself the hassle and BS and get financing somewhere else. I will NEVER do business with them again. read more

I paid our golf cart off a year ago and for the past three months have been trying to get a letter showing I paid in full. I cannot use or sell the golf cart until I have it. They put you on a 30 minute hold and then they tell you "it's in the mail." I had two different dates I was told it was mailed and I still do not have the letter. I have tried to be patient but I lost it today. I do not like having to be a Karen to get something done, but enough is enough. Finally today they are sending it overnight by UPS. We will see if it shows up. read more

This bank, "Shit"field Financial SUCKS. Website SUCKS, login process SUCKS, Customer Service SUCKS, two-factor authentication SUCKS. It shouldn't take a customer 40 min to pay their damn measly $245 monthly payment. Get your heads out of your asses and upgrade your LOUSY website and customer service or just file for bankruptcy and end it. Nothing would make me happier today. F-off. read more

Worse is financial company I have ever worked with, cannot email me a form to where I could do ACH monthly payments even though I tried multiple times, them multiple payments by check many of which I've canceled because they've never been cashed and they they never got them (could be true with the postal system), finally just paid off the loan over the Internet for the payoff amount and then they come back with a bullshit fee of $38.50 that I I pay the loan off. I will never in my life Sheffield Financial again. read more

This is by far the absolute WORST finance organization you can possibly deal with in the history of the USA. They are based in Winston-Salem North Carolina. After setting up my online account, there is no option to make additional Principle-only payments. My mortgage company certainly allows me to do this, just like every other finance company I have ever dealt with. How can they get away with this? In my account, there is zero information available regarding exactly what the trailer VIN number is that is associated with my loan. At the dealership, we had to make a trailer swap because of an incorrect rear door configuration during construction, and there is a new VIN number for the new trailer. Sheffield does not seem to be able to do a simple collateral change request. If you call them, they will transfer you around to a wide variety of individuals and departments that are absolutely clueless, and will provide no valuable assistance whatsoever. Your chances of being hung up on are very good. I will be paying off this ridiculous obnoxious loan as soon as humanly possible. Consider yourself WARNED about Sheffield Financial. read more

4 days after they got my information for a loan they sold it and I have been getting nonstop spam calls day and night. Never again

Sheffield Financial gave me the opportunity to purchase my junk removal trailer with zero down. The process was quick and easy -- and today, I'm proud to say I just finished paying it off! They were the only ones who gave me a chance to prove that I could pay my loan, and I did. Because of that trailer, I was able to start my first business -- and I'm still in business today. Thank you, Sheffield Financial, for believing in me and helping me get started. I'll always be grateful for the opportunity you gave me. Sincerely yours, Jose read more

I got behind on my ATV and they came and got it.But they want give back I get the money to pay late fees and repo fees they said there not going to give it back and I still have to pay for it and I was also told that if they sell it at auction, we have to pay the difference so they don't want me to have it read more

Stay away from Sheffield. We've purchased over $30k of equipment through them. They make it impossible to set up autopay, which in turn makes you late on your payments by the time you deal with their automated system. As a growing business with multiple large purchases each season, we will be steering clear from Sheffield. read more

Less than 1 star. They refused to answer the phone and when I left my place in line for a call back, it always went straight to voicemail so i had no way of contacting them to pay over the phone. The online payment wouldn't work. Even after they finally called me to try and collect their payment, they sent a link and the link didn't work. So destroyed my credit because they suck as a company. Never using again. read more

Zero stars. This is a terrible company with no customer service. They refused to verify my identity because I had a new phone number after living overseas for two years. When I asked them to work around my new phone number, they insisted that this was the only way to verify my identity, despite the fact that I gave them my SSN, DOB, old phone numbers, and have numerous federal IDs to verify my identity. If you're purchasing a vehicle, don't use Sheffield. This is a highly unethical company with incredibly vindictive policies.
