Ann Zimmerman and her…read morebusiness partner/husband, Dexter Eggers, are both failed attorneys - despite having a law degree from Harvard, Ms Zimmerman was unable to find employment and turned to singing "folk" music and her partner/husband, Dexter Eggers, also an attorney though he attended a much less impressive law school, left his first employment with a Salina law firm that worked for the State of Kansas after allegations of racism and sexual misconduct were raised. So it seems that after both Ann Zimmerman and Dexter Eggers failed at every turn to make it for more than 5 years at any of the 3 firms he was at during his first 9 years in Salina, he joined his wife in a mediation business that has a contract with the Saline County Courthouse as a way to make enough money to pay for the land Ms Zimmerman's father bought for them when they first moved to Salina. Ann Zimmerman splits her time between folk singing around Kansas at various little town events, her horse boarding business and this mediation business. If that isn't enough she has just joined the school board! Maybe that's why she's done such a lousy job as a mediator. She takes up valuable mediation time trying to rehash issues that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PROBLEMS THAT NEED MEDIATING! She has forgotten to put resolutions in her notes so they were left out of the formal documents and instead of taking responsibility and trying to fix the problems that she caused she chooses to ignore the issue and pretend that it doesn't matter. There are children who are counting on the mediator to remain impartial, to make sure that they are not swayed by the crocodile tears used to gain undeserved sympathy, lies told by master manipulators and false accusations made by people who care only about themselves. When you ask yourself why anyone would take the time to write such a lengthy review here's your answer: I care about people. Everyone who is sent here for court ordered mediation pays $250.00 and they deserve to be heard by someone who is focused on them not distracted by the 3 other jobs that they have. Ann Zimmerman is not that person.
