She was a delight to interact with at the event and the photographs were truly exceptional. She brought a flair to each picture that we could not have captured on our own. Additionally, having Kristine handle the photography of even such an informal event ensured that everyone present was memorialized in the photos. The pricepoint was extremely reasonable as well and we will most certainly be using her services in the future.

Not only did she get all the pictures my sister requested but add extra pictures that help to really capture the occasion, flowers, rings, table centerpieces, etc. Throughout the whole event she kept a calm and relaxed composure. My family has many people and lots of photographers in the past get frustrated with trying to get a "pose" with us, she just worked with us and let us enjoy the picture taking moment. I mean who does not love getting their picture taken? No one in my family. :D She captured the feeling and ambiance of the event, the love my sister and her newly married husband shared, and the angelic hearts of the children in the wedding. These pictures really said 1,000 words. Thank you again, Michalene. You are on our books for our October Family photos!

So impressed with Tricia, Melissa (her office manager), and the entire experience with this Studio…read more Everything is handled with professionalism, warmth, and authenticity. We were scrambling to find a photographer for our infant son. Tricia was always someone on my radar, but her location out in Geneva (we live in Chicago) always seemed prohibitive for us. As it turned out, other things fell through and I immediately messaged Tricia's studio for a session. And it was fantastic. My husband even agrees whole-heartedly - we will be heading out to Geneva for our photos from now on. Tricia's style is beautiful, she is great with babies and children, the entire process is seamless, and I love that she encourages you to print and display your photos. In fact, we are currently going through *all* of our photos trying to figure out what else we would like printed so we can create a display wall. This is exactly the inspiration we needed. Hire her. She's worth every penny and more.

I'm a 32 year-old male professional wedding photographer. Let me tell all you dudes out there how…read moreincredible newborn photography is to your new addition! Our little newborn Ella was 9 days old when I realized how important it was to photograph her in all the newborn goodness. I was always pretty judgemental about those "baby in a basket" sessions. You don't really get how unique that time in life is until you hold your own little child in your hands. I discovered you've got to photograph newborns within 14 days of their birth, otherwise it gets difficult for them to stay sleepy and stationary for a photo session. I had a minor meltdown trying to reach an incredible, well-known newborn photographer from Wisconsin. They did get a hold of me, but said I needed to come to Wisconsin with the baby for the session because of their busy schedule. They also recommended Patricia Anderson here in Chicago. I was elated to hear back from Patricia that evening. Patricia had a full schedule, but after **slightly** begging her, she fit me into her weekend schedule and we got Ella scheduled for a session at 11 days young. **AH** thank you thank you! Patricia is so easy to work with. She handles everything once you get to the studio. She took baby Ella and all we had to do was watch in amazement as the 1 hour mini session unfolded. Turn around was quick - we were able to see the photographs the same week. Man, did she deliver! And her print products are so fitting to her brand - you've got to get these photographs up on your wall! Seriously - it's the only way to go with artistic photographs that Patricia creates for you. We'll be back for every child from here on out. Thank you so much Patricia!!!

Kara came very highly recommended (as in rave…read morereviews) on a local wedding planning website, so I was thrilled to be able to meet with her about photographing my upcoming wedding. She was very quick to respond in her emails and seemed very friendly, with a great sense of humor. I was really looking forward to meeting Kara at her Geneva studio, at a time of her choosing. Well, Kara was late. She explained why, but seemed frazzled and very unapologetic. She was dressed unprofessionally. Is that a deal-breaker (30 Rock, anyone)? No, but first impressions mean a lot. She was very brusque and I really felt like my fiance and I were inconveniencing her by having the meeting. When I attempted to ask questions, she laughed and glanced down at the list I had with me, saying, "What else am I supposed to answer? I love these lists of questions." Ummm, okay. At that point I knew that there was no way I'd ever hire her. I really felt like Kara could have cared less whether we booked her or not--like our business mattered nothing to her. Her pricing isn't outrageous, but it's no bargain, either.
