On arrival it seemed very busy but after talking to the 2 " boys that run it" they were adament that they could get the parts and have it fixed for me later the same day. On return to the garage i was not holding my breath that they would have managed this but to my suprise the car was ready and waiting for me. The 2 brothers who run it were very pleasant and knowledgeable and i would certainly go back without hesitation. ps They also have a lovely dog with the biggest ears you have ever seen.

They immediately helped us diagnose our truck's problem and, when it became apparent we needed a new starter, squeezed us in for work the same day! At that point we figured that our original plan for the day was shot, but they managed to hook us up with a U-Haul truck so we could pick up the furniture as planned (and they gave us a deal)! By the time we made it back to drop off the moving truck, our truck was all fixed and ready to go! So ... what could have been a really frustrating, unproductive day was super easy and efficient all thanks to D & M Service Centre Ltd. in North Kentville!

Miller Tirecraft in Windsor Nova Scotia have a sign at the end of their road advertising oil changes for $29.99, and for the longest time I've been getting my oil changed for $29.99. Today, their sign was still advertising that price. Imagine my shock when they presented me with a bill that was $20 more than what I was expecting. When I expressed to them my shock, all they said was "Oh yeah, it's more now sorry". That was AFTER they had performed the service. Like what was I gonna do, get them to take the oil back out? To me that is dirty pool, and I really hate when a business trick you into thinking their price is one thing and you get the work done, only to find out it's much more than you expected and it's too late now that you have already had the work done. As for me, they have just lost a long time loyal customer. Shame on you for playing dirty like that. You are no better than than garages who cheat you out of money by making you think they did work on your car when they didn't but charge you anyways. Yes - dishonest and crooked.
