I research whatever the ailment or issue is and she always has the most current information of what I uncover. I have found her "bedside" manner to be empathetic and concerned. I noted the other reviewer [from San Francisco?] who complained about being sent to an emergency room. If Dr. Mayfield recommended that, then it was the best course of action/had the least risk out of available options. I empathize with a frantic parent but that is why you get medical advice from someone who can remain objective. I find the rest of the staff to be effective, friendly and problem-solvers. I give my highest recommendation for this practice.

If you go to here and your reg doctor is out and they give you her as the on call "doctor" literally go anywhere else. I'd trust the janitor with no medical experience with my baby more than her. Sent my premie baby that was born a month early to the er around sick adults which was incredibly dangerous. Again HARD PASS!

She will base your treatment plan on your lifestyle, your goals and picture of what you would like your future to look like. When I began my treatment plan, I knew I needed change, but I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong. I had tried all the fad diets and weight loss programs, and nothing was working. I was approaching 50, overweight, suffering from constant pain due to plantar fasciitis and barely able to make it through the day without coming home to crash in excruciating pain. Angie took the time to educate me on processed foods, ultra processed foods, proteins, the need for daily exercise and the need to stay hydrated regardless of what else is going on in my life. I took her advice and made the changes she suggested and slowly I began to see change! Today I am able to walk without pain! I am able to park where I want without fear of the walk into a store.
