By far the best healthcare experience I have ever experienced, hands down! Came in because of a big toe nail injury that caused me to have to get the toe nail removed. Dr. Shawn was incredible kind and took the time to explain the procedure to me, including the local anesthesia injection. This meant a lot since getting a toe nail removed and injections into your toe to numb it can be scary but this Doctor made me feel safe, and comfortable! Where to begin?! I was referred to Dr. Van Enoo and I'm so glad I was. He is a phenomenal doctor. I was not sure what to expect when I first arrived considering, I, myself was not even sure how to explain the type of pain I was having on my foot. Well upon my first visit Dr. Van Enoo really took the time to listen to me try to explain the many types of pain I was experiencing. Which if you know me, it can be a handful. Lol but he right away took an X-ray and we found out that I have a bone spur right on the joint of my big toe. Ouch! Dr. Van Enoo offered a variety of steps I could take to help ease the pain and for almost a year I've tried those steps and now I have made the ultimate decision of having a foot surgery. Also, I must add that the other great thing is that Dr. Van Enoo really helps explain everything for you so that you feel comfortable that what you decide to do is a good choice for yourself and not feel pressured like most other doctors. I would highly recommend Shawn. I had a bad ligament tear on my right ankle and he was able to repair the ligament and remove some broken pieces of bone. I don't ever write reviews but I always use yelp to help me find places I should go to. I found Dr. Van Enoo on yelp and decided to give him a call after reading all the good reviews. I have had an ingrown toenail on each side of my big toe for the past 2 years. I did routine pedicures in hopes that they would finally go away. I realized it was time to get them removed by a professional. Let's just say the reviews were right! Dr. Van Enoo was so nice! He explained what the procedure entailed and explained why he did everything. He made sure I was numb and that I was doing okay throughout the whole procedure. The staff is nice and accommodating. All I can say is that my experience went so smoothly and I was glad about that since I was freaking out about it before. I am extremely disappointed with the complete disregard of my requests to send bills to my mother. My father was in a Alzheimer's Care facility and on 8/28/2018 this doctor performed some sort of "SNF E&M Estab 10 min." for $100 and a "Debridement Nail 5+" for another $100 on my father. Dad passed away in December, 2018 and today I received a bill to pay $200. I wonder if they billed Medicare and his insurance? Who knows. Regardless, upon receiving previous bills at my address, I had to continuously inform them in writing to bill my mother so she can make the payment but they cannot seem to understand this request. I also had informed the care facility to let the doctor know who to send his bills to. Still no action taken to resolve this issue and there is no phone number to call on the bill to discuss with a person. A doctor is only as good as his office and billing staff.
