Staff was very helpful and nice, and we both found a bunch of stuff! Their prices are very affordable: I got three dresses, a skirt, and a top for sixty bucks! You can't beat it. They also do consignment for items that suit their needs. Definitely worth a visit!

Within the last year or…read moreso, they may a huge change that has seriously affected my desire to drop in whenever I drive by it. I used to visit once a week and now I dread going in there at all. Why? THE SMELL! For some reason, management decided that the store MUST smell like an over zealous teenage boy who loves his extremely overpowering cologne. You know the guy. You can taste the acrid air that surrounds him. Your eyes burn when you walk by him. The pungent miasma of cheap perfume sticks inside your nose for hours. All f the Goodwill stores in Rockford have become THAT guy. I feel sorry for the employees that have to work all day in the chemical s**tstorm all day. When I got home from my last visit, I had to take a shower to get that awful smell off my body. I had to put the item I purchased outside for days until the smell dissipated. Note to management, please, please, please stop using those automatic air poisoners. Many people are extremely sensitive to those smells and are avoiding the store because of that.

But... we expected more Quality items but instead there are plenty of booths with 3D printing toys, items from AliExpress and Temy, while glass cabinets of shampoo, soaps and conditioner and even old Bath and Body works products. Some booth has really nice kitchen items and organized beautifully but prices out of this world. As people who do toy shows and selling $$$$ of vintage toys, we definitely don't have a competition there, but as a customer I don't have an urge going back there at all. I was looking at CD, DVDs and Vinyl and most of that's stuff wasn't organized and I got tired of looking. Also you can buy physical media cheaper at record stores. Most of theirs are $5 a piece. It's too much for DVD less it's more desirable. So I am not sure how I feel about it. Same with CDs and vinyl. There is definitely no 70-90s toys, saw maybe a couple here and there. It's really good and clean store. But nothing to come back to.

I feel like the prices at this store may run a tad bit higher but only by a couple bucks at most. The pricing is very reasonable and if you happen to find an item and want to offer a couple bucks less they will make that bargain sometimes. Hint: each day they offer up to 75% off certain colors. I picked up a cephalon frying pan (not one scratch btw) That was originally 6 bucks but scored it for 3. This is the place to come if you want to redo or redecorate on a budget. Mind, you may not find every item in tip top shape....but if you're willing to be creative and put a little love into your purchase you can really hit the jackpot!
