Ms. Glover gets a two star, my divorced was finalized in Feb 2016, I have struggled with my thoughts and experience with Ms. Glover and her unprofessional assistant years after my finalization. Glover, just like any human being has had good days and bad days in my experience. One minute I felt she is genuine and other minute she is on meds! Icing on the cake is when I had question about when they were sending a one last proposal to the Mediator judge, Mr. Love ( I believe), she asked me to sign the document - I misunderstood it to be final settlement, and I refused to sign it! Rather than taking the time to explain to me what the process was all about, she filed it without my signature! Best part is on the day of my final decree, I had absolutely no communication or preparation - I didn't even know if she was going to show up! To my utter surprise her associate who I HAD NEVER MET OR SPOKEN to shows up introduces herself and said she would be representing me - not sure if I was relived more or confused. The attorney did NOT have my file or any documents with her - she represents and makes ME AGREE to the terms without taking the time to address it and put PRESSURE on me that the court closes at 4:30 and I HAVE TO SIGN AND AGREE - yes I was a emotional mess, distraught with no prior knowledge of what was going to happen that day. My attorney blackmailed me to pay in full immediately even though I had been paying her and had already paid her closed to $15,000! It gets even better, her associate negotiates $4000 attorney fees from the Defendant to Ms. Glover directly and UNDER OATH AGREES to type my final judgement! When I contacted the law firm, they REFUSED to type the final judgement UNLESS I pay them in FULL. They refused to give me proof of what the Defendant paid them as well. Not a single day in my life will go by without that bitter utter disgust of how a person could be so deceitful, cheat for money. OH WAIT! It gets even better when I asked for my files back, she did not have them ready - completely avoided my calls nor returned my calls. When I showed up physically at her office, she had the security guard escort me from the building because I requested to speak to her or her assistant in PERSON! I was not allowed back in the building and I had to PAY courier to pick my files, guess what condition my files were in? It was in a dusted box in no particular order or file folders...my sixteen years of life was a PILE OF PAPERS for her - all because she did not do her job. As much as I believe in Karmic, I will never forget Ms. Glover, not because I got cheated everyway but they way She and her assistant TREATED ME! Side note, I actually referred her to a friend of mine, and when they had a fall out - I actually reached out to her to patch things up between the two! Because KINDNESS is never too big or too small - I hope to get an letter from her office taking responsibility of her actions...one can always hope and give someone a second chance - it makes us HUMAN :) As I reread this, I just remembered one of many things what I was MISLEAD on , Ms. Glover said I HAD TO SIGN THE BIFURCATION THE DEFENDANT FILED, but in court the Judge asked me DO YOU AGREE TO IT? and I froze as my attorney was representing me and next to me and had already told me I HAD NO CHOICE but sign. As I write this today, after five years with every thing still fresh on my mind, I am teary eyed and nostalgic regarding the whole situation they put me through. I was in emotional distress with two young kids, working, going back to college at 45, and fighting a divorce battle with the defendant. She cheated and misrepresented me in everyway possible. I hired her to represent me in court! Ms. Glover knew my entire situation more than most people as well as my finances. To this day, I believe she collaborated with my defendants attorney. To this day, I wait for an invoice statement reflecting what the defendant paid her as per the court order. I know this a long post but overall, I do not trust her and nor should you. San Diego family court is a multi-billion dollar industry that attracts the worst of the worst court Street-Walkers anywhere. Almost all who enter the divorce proceedings process in San Diego and elsewhere, go into it with a fair amount of naivety. A party to divorce hopes to trust their legal counsel, and believe their recommendations are good. Don't believe it for a nano-second. Divorce in San Diego is all about the court Street-Walkers robbing the taxpaying public, and further destroying families already in distress. I began to experience the Street-Walkers in action, in early 2006, when Glover, (recommended in court to the family court judge, without previously conferring with me) to have the #1 Fraud in San Diego be involved in my family court case. The judge made it the order, however, the Fraud was never appointed a child custody evaluator in my case, and truly did not have a clue as to what he was supposed to be doing, or thought he should be doing. Glover, also had no clue, but was happy that the Fraudulent private evaluator was on the case, because it churned thousands and thousands of dollars for both San Diego's Chief Fraud, and Glover. The Chief Fraud essentially was a "visitation monitor", at an hourly rate of first $175.00/Hour, then he upped it to $190.00/Hour, and then upped it again to $225.00/Hour. All within ten months. How do you spell T-H-I-E-F ? In short, the Chief Fraud (who holds a worthless CAT credential purchased for $350.) was an obvious disaster, and is a trainwreck with a professional title attached to his name. Besides hanging up fraudulent credentials in his office for all to see, The Fraud who Glover recommended in court, never did anything therapeutic for me and my child. In his office, my son and I would interact normally, or as normal as possible in that setting, and Chief Fraud would be on his computer, playing with his email program, and working on documents Unrelated to me or my son. I know this firsthand, as I saw his computer screen numerous times while departing and returning from the rest room over a ten month period. I fired Chief Fraud while in his office in April 2007, after my son had left the office. Within days, Chief Fraud sent a nasty letter to the family court regarding my firing him. I have all documentation. I also have documentation of Glover recommending the use of Chief Fraud in court in early 2006. All my documentation, including court proceedings and paperwork from Glover and her recommended Fraud, has been copied, digitized, and is located with a third party out of state. Glover is incestually in bed with the worst of San Diego's court Street-Walkers.. She had also later recommended THREE OTHER COURT STREET-WALKING THIEVES, who further bled me and my child's college account of tens of thousands of dollars and accomplished absolutely nothing but ruining my relationship with my child. All were equal train-wrecks to the first Chief Fraud she had recommended in court. . Don't make the mistake of hiring someone else. Shannon and Alex are the only family law attorney's you should hire. Especially if your ex is a narcissistic person and there is no talking to them. Crazy exes is Shannon and Alex specialty. Listen to every word that Shannon and Alex tell you and you will be guided through safely. Not going to lie but my ex and her parents are savages and lied and lied and lied. There was no convincing them otherwise. Alex and Shannon helped to expose all their lies. Every last one and they didn't give them an inch. This is the second time I've used this firm and they don't disappoint at all. I just wish I were more patient and thankfully they put up with me being a nervous wreck. Never question them or their advice and take their advice 100 percent. I would advise anyone reading my reviews to look at what this person says about himself in his profile (claims to be a Russian communist among other things) and the similar very personal, insulting attacks he made about another female attorney in San Diego on the same day - Lori Viviano. Lori and I have never had the same client, nor does she know who this person is, therefore he/she appears to have some personal dislike for both of us unrelated to us ever representing him/her. Shannon Glover had a friend at a local newspaper write an article against her HOA regarding a violation notice she received for displaying a British flag during our country's Independence Day Celebration on the 4th of July, on the front of her home. When she was notified how this offended others within her community, to include veterans, the British immigrant became verbally abusive and used her position as a family law paralegal to justify her actions as righteous and claim she was a victim from the violation notice. An unpatriotic person is not someone who should represent you in a court of law. Alex's performance wasn't comparable to Shannon's. Communication was lacking on her part and commitments weren't met. I felt unprepared to testify, as did my witnesses. Alex later sent a strongly worded email suggesting she'd take legal action if I didn't release her from my case, to which I complied without resistance. Her responsiveness was limited, particularly during the holiday season. While I acknowledge my own shortcomings, I faced significant losses as a consequence. I'd recommend working exclusively with Shannon and being cautious with Alex, given my experience of her inattentiveness and harsh communication. My own experiences with this lieyer were very poor- she lengthens litigation to ramp up the fees- fees in the tens of thousands, Over two years. Should have been wrapped up in less than a year, for under 10K. She is a master at keeping the fight going on and on and on and on.
