It's not in Truro but on the road to Porthtowan on the coast north of Truro, it's a secluded building along the roadside with parking, fairly easy to spot. Inside is very nicely decorated with a relaxed and refined atmosphere, there are little alcoves tucked away everywhere and the whole place has a real nice class to it. The food is all fantastic, we have been many a time and tried everything we could off the menu, it all comes sizzling hot with small heaters on the tables to keep your food hot while you eat. The staff are all incredibly friendly and the lighting of the place creates a really romantic atmosphere. It's also one of the few places where if we go we'll have a full three course meal. It can be on the pricey side, so we often leave it for a treat once or twice a year but it is really worth it and I would thoroughly recommend the Flaming Wok to any couples looking for a nice evening out, probably not that great for families or large groups.

Victoria Gardens are usually quite quiet and it is a nice peaceful place to visit. Towards the top of the gardens there is a fishpond and there are toilets within the gardens. There is also a bandstand which during the Summer is used for musical events. In the past I have visited Victoria Gardens to eat my lunch, and found it a peaceful place to be. It is a beautiful garden which I would recommend visiting.

Also, a portion of rice is far too small- a lot of Chinese restaurants give you enough rice for 2 people if you order 1 rice, but here, 1 rice is barely enough for 1 person. But these are minor criticisms of a generally lovely restaurant.
