Leaves yard in a mess. Cost more for less service. Ask to see their license. Would never recommend these people.

They were friendly, professional, fast, and reasonable in price. We had two big oaks cut because…read morethe tree branches were leaning too far over my roof and we were afraid of the damage if there was a strong storm. Having the trees removed gave us peace of mind and changed the view of our front yard for the better. I have no complaints with Katy and would recommend them to family and friends.

Our realtor recommended this company to us, but we later found out that our realtor had not…read morepersonally used them. My husband contacted the company for an estimate, and they came out to discuss what we wanted done. We were very clear from the beginning: we wanted all of the pine trees removed, as well as the trees along the property line, because we were preparing to have a fence installed. We were told they could begin the following Monday, August 3, 2026, and we were specifically told that no money would be due until the job was completed. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill almost immediately. On the first day, they did not arrive until that afternoon and asked how late they could work. Because we live in a subdivision, we explained that they could not work past approximately 7:30 PM. At the end of that first day, despite previously telling us that no payment was due until the job was finished, he asked my husband for a payment because he said he needed to pay the "third-party company" he was using. My husband agreed and gave him a payment. They were supposed to return the next day but never showed up. It was approximately 2-3 days later before they returned, and from there it became excuse after excuse with very poor communication. My husband repeatedly had to contact them just to find out whether they were coming. We would be given a day or time, and then they either would not show up as expected or the plans would change. At one point, my husband contacted them asking if they were coming and he was told it would be the following day. The next day, he again had to reach out, only to be told their machine was down. We were also told that the person responsible for the stump grinding had been called into the firehouse because he was a firefighter. Things happen. Equipment breaks down, emergencies occur, and schedules change. The problem was the lack of communication and the fact that we constantly had to reach out to find out what was happening. This was especially frustrating because they knew from the very beginning that we had a fence installation scheduled and that the trees and stumps needed to be removed so the fence crew could do their job. My husband even reminded them through text that the fence company was coming and that we had told the fence crew everything would be completed beforehand. We also had to repeatedly remind them that all of the pine trees were supposed to be removed. This had been discussed from the beginning, yet days into the job there were still pine trees standing. We should not have had to continuously remind a tree-removal company which trees they had already agreed to remove. During all of this, he requested another payment before the job was completed. My husband felt sorry for him and gave him another payment. Once again, after receiving another payment, they did not return for another two days. Meanwhile, our yard was left a mess, with stumps throughout the property that were still supposed to be ground. Eventually, someone came out on a Sunday to grind the stumps. We walked the property afterward expecting everything to finally be completed and found that there were still stumps throughout the yard. On top of that, a large amount of mulch and debris from the stump grinding was pushed toward our property line--the exact area where we had repeatedly explained that our fence was going to be installed. This created additional difficulty for our fence crew when they came to install the fence. The condition of the yard also became an additional expense for us. We had already paid $4,000 for the tree-removal work and then had to pay our yard guy another $900 to come out and smooth and level the areas that were left in poor condition. That brought our total out-of-pocket expense to $4,900, with $900 being spent just to address the condition the yard was left in. To top it all off, after everything we went through, we later realized that they had also missed three trees along the property line that were supposed to have been removed as part of the job. At that point, I was simply ready to be done with this company. After all of the delays, excuses, payment requests, communication issues, unfinished stump grinding, and additional expense, I did not even want to go through the process of trying to get them to come back again. That probably sums up our experience better than anything: the job still wasn't completely done, but dealing with the company had become so frustrating that I would rather leave the three trees than continue dealing with them. What makes this experience so frustrating is that many of these problems could have been avoided with basic communication, professionalism, and follow-through. If you tell a customer you are coming on a certain day, communicate when that changes. If you tell a customer that no payment is due until the job is finished, don't repeatedly ask for advance payments. And if a customer clearly explains that another con
