Perched on the slopes overlooking Akaroa Harbour, this farm offers stunning panoramic views of the harbour and surrounding hills. After arriving at our dedicated tour time, the experience began with a brief introduction, where we learned about the alpacas on the farm and how to best interact with them. We then spent around 15 minutes or so with the male alpacas, enjoying the chance to get up close, cuddle, and pet them. Afterwards, we were given a bucket of food and had the opportunity to feed the female alpacas and their adorable babies. All in all, we saw close to a hundred alpacas roaming on the farm, each with their own unique personality. At the end of the tour, we had some complimentary drinks and snacks.
