We were hungry after midnight tonight and I am happy that I had the experience of going there and having pizza with a ton of locals. That said, I definitely won't go back. I'd also like to add however that a lot of our Filipino officemates actually really like it so... I was so desperate I was going to suggest going to the Sbarro's or Pizza Hut at the Ayala but luckily my cousin (and Yelp) suggested we check out Handuraw, a local Cebuano favorite. Thin crust pizza is the game here and when our Handuraw House Special came out I was shocked to see that the pizza looked like it was made on a flimsy ass tortilla. I grabbed a slice, braced myself for the worst and took a bite -- it as surprisingly good! The crust was crunchy and held up to all of the toppings quite nicely. We downed two pizzas with the quickness as well as an order for the chili wings. They have a good beer selection and sell gin and juice by the pitcher which is pretty gangsta of them. As we were finishing up, a local band started playing CCR hits and guess what --- they were amazing. The restaurant is very lively and fun and I'd definitely come back for a thoroughly modern Filipino experience.
