    Vanilla Shake with malt
    Leilani M.

Stopping in for a shake fix on a rare occasion. Service was friendly and welcoming. Order on the app for a quick pick up to avoid the line. Pick up at the front counter. Staff were prompt to make sure my order was complete. Inside kiosk order tablets available or head straight to register. Inside seating area was clean woth enough seating for a group. Flavored with malt gave a nice twist on a classic. Will definitely order that again.

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free shake for Rewards members Perusing all the shake offerings, I thought I'd get into the current fad & order the Limited Time Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake. Asking the manager about it, he said they ran out of the ingredients, but more is currently unloading from the supply truck, parked outside on PCH. I was told the wait would be around 30 minutes, and decided to stay for my first foray into the Dubai Chocolate craze. Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake- Frozen pistachio custard, blended with toasted kataifi, coated in a crackable dark chocolate shell, topped with chopped pistachios & shredded kataifi. Good? Yes. Good enough to wait 30+ minutes for? No. And, I would say that for the overall Dubai Chocolate phenomena. Most Middle Eastern restaurants serve knafeh, with some offering Nutella-topped knafeh. That is a cheaper, and much better, original version of Dubai Chocolate. Shake Shack's version was cool & refreshing, however. The toasted kataifi gave the drink the crunch of Frosted Mini-Wheats. The chocolate shell was akin to Magic Shell chocolate syrup. Pistachios are pretty pricey, so having a generous amount of chopped pistachios was a plus. Great on a hot day, I was satisfied with my Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake. Service was excellent. The manager was friendly and didn't have to fill me in on the restocking of supplies from the truck. He made sure to create my shake, despite not having to make it a priority. Plenty of seating inside & out, Shake Shack is located across Fire Wings at 2nd & PCH. My initial visit to a Shake Shack was at a Los Angeles branch, and I left underwhelmed with their burger. Their shakes, however, are highly recommended, and the personal service I received from the manager made me an appreciative customer of the 2nd & PCH eatery. I hope to come back soon.

Shake now has a self service kiosk. Fairly user friendly but some customizations you can do at the register you can't do on the kiosk! Examples, no way to add mustard on a hot dog (just pick up the packets and squeeze!); no way to add lettuce to a Smoke Shack burger. Definitely took longer to put our order in vs at the register but many are switching out to kiosks. Burgers and hotdog were very good. Fries and fried pickles also very good. Rootbeer floats were just okay. Leftover ice cream, would have loved a rootbeer refills (remember A&W?). I'll have to.ask next time. Still a solid place for fast food.

Super solid burgers! I love how they get creative and have seasonal options. My go to is the shroom stack burger, can't go wrong with a crispy fried mushroom with molten cheese ON a burger! The shakes are thick and I love a crinkle fry. Only con, they're a little pricey

I've been a fanboy of shake shack for a long time. In my first trip to Manhattan in 2011, I went to the original location in Madison Square Park. My friends and I enjoyed the "beefy" flavored blend of the burger over their potato roll so much that we ended up checking out five other shack locations in the remainder of that trip. Ten years later, their first location on the west coast opened at New York, New York in Las Vegas in Vegas' version of MSG and "the park". We checked it out in their opening month. I'm glad that we have now have a location locally in Long Beach at 2nd and PCH. I still really enjoy their beefy burgers and their shakes; however, their fries remind me of Ore Ida and I don't love the prices and the small portion sizes of their sides. Cost keeps me from going more regularly; however, I'm still a fan.

My second time here at the Shake Shack in Long Beach at the 2nd & PCH Shopping center. Parking can be hard, but fortunately it was an early Friday evening before the dinner rush that we came just to pick up from Shake Shack. I find shake shack to be pricey because their burgers just seem small compared to other burger spots, but currently they have a BOGO offer on their Korean inspired flavors for burgers, Chicken sandwich, Chicken Nuggets and French fries. I had to see what it was all about. So I ordered one of each Korean inspired item. I must say, if you can eat it there, I highly recommend that because by the time I got home, the chicken sandwich did not travel well as it lost its crispness, but the flavors were still there and the chicken was still tender and flavorful. The burger was ok. I didn't care too much for the sweet sauce. The Korean seasoning on the fries with the cheese was really good. Again, if I ate it right away, it probably would have been a little crispier still. The nuggets were also not a favorite. I think it might have been a similar sauce as the burger. Either way, I enjoyed it and it was nice to try something different at Shake Shack in Long Beach.

Pain is driving 45 minutes to Shake Shack Long Beach for their limited Dubai chocolate shake and them selling out 2 customers before me I called them and they said they had 11 shakes left when I was exactly 11 minutes away so I'm still shocked it sold out that quickly, however these 2 items made up for it Black truffle burger 8.32/10- honestly this burger was insane. It was made with Gruyère cheese, crispy sweet onions, and black truffle sauce made with real black truffle oil. The black truffle sauce was incredible - it had this deep, rich flavor that you can tell comes from using actual truffle and not just artificial flavoring. It kind of reminded me of the TRUFF sauce but less intense and more integrated with the other ingredients. The Gruyère cheese had this amazing nutty flavor that paired perfectly with the truffle, and the crispy sweet onions added this perfect textural contrast and subtle sweetness that cut through the richness. I honestly prefer shake shack's chicken burgers to their angus beef but this was incredible and the beef patty was juicy and perfectly cooked with that signature smash burger crust. All the flavors melded together so well in every bite. Avocado bacon chicken 9.56/10- this is one of my favorite burgers if not my favorite from shake shack (I still miss the limited Thai green curry chicken shack ). They put a huge piece of chicken breast and it was fresh and perfectly breaded. The avocado was also incredibly fresh and buttery. The bacon was cooked to that ideal point where it's crispy but not burnt, with that smoky-sweet flavor that complemented the creamy avocado and juicy chicken perfectly. The lettuce added this nice coolness, and their special sauce tied everything together. The bun was also very good and perfectly soft with a slight sweetness that made every bite amazing. Smokestacks, spicy cheese fries, regular fries hiding in back.

I had never tried Shake Shack before, but had heard a lot of hype, specifically about their fries. Our experience was...a mixed bag. The food was pretty expensive for what you get. Three burgers (two singles, one double), two fries, a fountain drink, and a shake ran us about $60. I know it's 2025 and in this economy, but maaaaaaaan. That's a lot of money for a pretty basic meal (granted it was tasty, but still). Their fries game was strong. One order came out hot, crisp on the outside and pillow-y on the inside. The second, not so much. Luckily, it was blanketed with cheese sauce (made spicy with a cayenne blend that may be seasonal, I'm not sure). So it wasn't a total flop. Service was super hands off. Ordering was automated, the touchscreens on the ordering tablets were pretty greasy. Tables were dirty. The person who dropped off our food at the table made zero eye contact and didn't even flinch when we said thanks. Their point of sale automatically applies a tip (which you can alter the amount assuming you catch it before hitting the confirm order button), but sneaking it in there seems low-key predatory.

Shack burger ... why so small

I've had shake shack only twice. My first time was a few years ago. When I tried the burger again this past weekend, I ate that thing in like 4 bites ... I did get the single patty shack burger but dang that thing was TINY I wanted to get double but it's so expensive ... 10.99 or something I think. I need juicy, fat, stuffed, messy burgers that satisfy my soul. I usually get a 3x3 at in n out so you can imagine the fatty in me crying after I finished this tiny little burger Also I don't remember having it onions and I ABSOLUTELY NEEEEEEEEEEED onions in my burger. Fries were good tho.

Stopped by and got the shack stack burger, fries, peaches and cream shake to go. The shake was good! It was not too sweet and it was kinda refreshing to quench thirst a bit in the heat haha. The fries weren't as fresh of course when we ate them but the burger was really good! Also, it was good service! We had trouble with a gift card and the two workers really stepped up and helped and were nice about it.

This Shake Shack is located about 3min walk from your parking spot.

Likes: + I like the taste and texture of the Black Truffle Parmesan Fries. + Food made ready fresh. + Efficient service. + Plenty of indoor seating. Non-likes: - Unhealthy fast food. - The Shack Burger is bland tbh, which is surprising for having a trademark name. - Inconvenient location. The parking situation at this plaza is a bit of a drag, considering it's free virtually everywhere else (all other Shake Shack's). Also it can be a bit of a walk from the parking lot. Maybe you're better off visiting another Shake Shack with free convenient parking. I had: Black Truffle Parmesan Fries + free Shack Burger = $5.50

Love their food! Prices high but worth it!

Delicious! Came here for lunch after pixar putt. Ordered their burger with bacon, cheese fries and mango lemonade. Love how soft the bun on their burgers are. Cheese sauce was delish. My niece had their chicken bites, cheesy bacon fries and a strawberry milkshake. Food all tasted delicious, just be prepared to spend. These are not in n out prices. Meal with tip was over $50 for 2 people. Takes casual fast food to a different level.

I came to have lunch with my mom after a mini spa morning. This location is clean, & the employees are the nicest I've ever met. We got a burger with spicy fries and a chicken sandwich with regular fries. The burger was okay, nothing too special and the spicy fries have some type of seasoning that is DEF spicy. The chicken sandwich was the winner tho! Crispy, juicy and flavorful! Fries? Regular fries too. We got 2 lemonades, a mango passionfruit and a strawberry lemonade which to me, both tasted almost identical. The location is nice tho! Off PCH & 2nd. Will we be back? Probably not...

You have breakfast dishes, sandwiches, burgers, salads, Mexican dishes and main entrees. A pleather of everything and the prices was very reasonable. I went with an order of the chicken quesadilla which was served with a heap of guacamole and shredded lettuce on the side. Portion was pretty massive for what it was. And an order of the chicken club sandwich which came with fries. Another item that was pretty massive. Plus a medium order of onion rings. If that order was medium, I wonder what the large would be as it was pretty big already. Plus they were ok, not major. They asked if you wanted chili peppers and ketchup upon pickup but ranch was an additional 1.05 if needed. With all that waiting and leaving, we noticed that the car infront of us when we drove in also left around the same time when they did drive through. I don't know what was going on last night but it sure brought out everyone. I guess it's a happening place. For the price, the food was quite nice and decent. It was pretty big for the order and very well priced.

I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. Perfect service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food will definitely have me returning very soon! Parking is free for 2 hours at the nearby garage on 3rd and is a very short walk. The closer garage on Broadway is not free. You can make restaurant reservations on their website but it wasn't needed when we went.

TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

During Construction review. (April 2026)…read more My friends and I stopped in on a Monday night. 2 vegans 1 omnivore Spoiler alert: my burger was perfectly messy. PARKING plenty of parking in the lot. Or take metro. It goes eight by here. SERVICE Monday. There was only one person working tonight when we arrived. She was cooking and prepping fries and tots. But prep was fast (see ORDERING below) PRICE Lower than average vegan. FOOD BBQ Burger. WAIT A MINUTE. WAIT WAIT WAIT. yes I forgot to take photos. But the burgers looked LEGIT EXACTLY like their menu photos, but in reality EVEN BIGGER. ? Ok...... BBQ BURGER with onion rings and bacon. IT GETS ALL OVER YOU. so good. I wanted to eat two, but I had trouble finishing one. (With fries) BREAKFAST BURGER EGG/TOTS My (V) friend loved it. (Just Egg) cooked so well. SPICY CHICKEN My omnivore friend said it wasn't "that" spicy. But good. Fries: mine delicious. Sweet potato fries (they ate all of theirs) looked good. The 1,000 island is thick and good on everything. (Fries+burger) SEATING Two tables are inside. Wooden Bench and metal chairs are not uncomfortable. But the sun shines directly INTO you in the afternoon. Looks like they're going through some construction right now. ORDERING pretty obvious when you walk in. NO CASH There is a kiosk to place your order and pay by credit card or app. Super easy. BATHROOM (-1) there is no public bathroom. To wash/clean your burger mitts, you'll need to use a bunch of napkins. Not optimal. I don't need to pee, but I want to drive without "burgering" my steering wheel. Another star off:…read more Wanted to really support this place because I love their vegan burgers. This time we had two one offs; 1. My burger took more than 20 mins/felt like 25-30. I ordered my usual breakfast sandwich and would drive from Torrance. It took waaaaay toooooo lonnnng. 2. On top of this, the cashier/male and cook/female were going at it in the kitchen. They both were not having a good evening and kept jabbing and saying unprofessional things to each other. This really brought a negative expierence. It was a double whammy of let downs combo to go. Would I recommend this place?? Would you? Hope they can make this right the next time I visit. As a business owner myself, customer service and experience is key for retention. Staff needs training!! Period.

I listened to orders being placed as she continuously greeted customers. At one time I did hear a couple of customers order a dinner and I heard her ask if they wanted fries, salad or half of each. Their online menu does not indicate the sides available. It was at this time, 9 minutes later hung up. I tried to call back and the line was obviously busy. I placed my order online for burgers and fries and drove to pick my order up. It's not what I wanted but I knew what I was getting. When I arrived at the restaurant i asked her name. She said, Kate. I explained what happened and she indicated she forgot about the call. I told her good customer service would have been for her to come back to the phone if even to say, I hadn't forgot about you and will be with you shortly. She admitted I hadn't forgot a valid point. I ordered 2 burgers, a double cheeseburger and a bacon cheeseburger both with fries. To make matters worse the cheese was not even melted on the burger. Just a cold slice of cheese on both burgers. I had bit into the burger before realizing the cheese was cold and not melted or soft. I'm going to give Poly Burgers a rest. Today's experience was frustrating.
