Great food. Went to McDs once in like forever just to try their sirloin burgers and it reminded me why I rather do Shake Shack than the golden arches. Burgers are great. When I first tried it at Madison Park i didn't get the hype. But I definitely get it now. Burgers are great, juicy, tender, you can tell theyre cooked on the spot. Love the Shroom burger, cheese oozing out of the fried portobello mushroom with Shack sauce on top? I just can't. Shack Stack: Shroom and Shack burger for when you can't decide and you feel like not giving a damn about your arteries. Love the fries, not overly salty line in other places. I get the cheese fries but request the sauce on the side(don't want them soggy and I like to control how much cheese I put on the fry before I do the ketchup). I like the fifty/fifty ( ice tea lemonade ), they're lemonades and featured lemonades are a bit too puckery for me. And I just discovered the CHICKEN SHACK! I was nervous because I saw on their site that they crossed out the info about bringing back sandwich in their Brooklyn locations but was lucky to get one. OMG so delicious. Big juicy crispy breast over shredded lettuce, pickle, mayo in potato bun? What's not to love? Only thing? I'd prefer if they put the mayo on top of the chicken as we as the bottom. Wanted to taste more of it. Luckily they have free mayo packets so I can help myself. I also love they have a fountain so I can refill my bottle of get a cup to drink. Staff is great too. read more

The chicken burger (specifically) was amazing, and the variety was incredible. I loved the hardworking workers and the great food. I don't even usually eat burgers much, but this restaurant has proved me to be a misjudging person when it came to burgers. I did not intend to ask anybody about the food,but I didn't have to considering that everybody was enjoying themselves, and there food. Good thing my mom asked me to try it, or I probably wouldn't be writing this review, or have enjoyed that perfectly made burger. I don't feel like Shake Shack lives up to the hype. Options are extremely limited--I couldn't even get BBQ sauce on my burger. The staff at this location was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I liked the decor. However, the burger was bland, and not just because it lacked toppings. The meat itself just wasn't flavorful. It felt like a small step above what you could get at Wendy's. The fries were decent, but nothing special. It's a good place to grab a quick bite if you aren't looking to customize much, but otherwise I'll be sticking to Bareburger or Five Guys. read more

A fun, quick way to get some food and drinks before antenisme a Game or Event at The Barclay Center. They even have a little outdoor seating, but unfortunately, the area is so busy with care, that you will surely get horribly fumigated if you stay outside to enjoy your meal. The service is quick and pleasant as well. THey are also very kid friendly and the space is very big. A good addition to the area. read more

I ordered a simple burger at 8:45pm. My buzzer started buzzing about 5 minutes later, at which point I went up to wait for my food. Twenty minutes passed and yet no food. I told an employee who mumbled something to me and walked away. A few minutes later, she asked my name and again walked away, not looking like she was trying too hard to find my food. Twenty minutes later I still hadn't received my food after seeing countless people come and go after me, even some who got the same exact burger I did. After 40 mins of waiting, I got back on line for a refund at which point the cashier said he'd go make sure it was made right away but at this point I was sick of waiting and had places to be, so I Asked for a refund, which took them another five minutes because the girl who took my order was on break. I understand the crowds of NYC but this place wasn't even that crowded and plenty of people came and left before I even got my order, even after I made it known I was still waiting which is a bit ridiculous. read more

Went here with my sis and got a couple of burgers and fries and a shake and it was pretty dam good. The best burger chain spot to date. The shake is hella good though lol. The down side is its a lil bit expensive for a burger chain. The real up side was they messed up my sister's burger and gave us a free one so HEY not a bad day. The food is always good at Shake Shack and the staff very friendly. The late night policy of insisting that the customer would have to put the vibrator-alert device into a special container rather than on the counter before being handed over their food is a bit hostile. When I have paid for it already in advance, it is the restaurants job to deliver, not mine to take it "the right way" from the staff. Somebody has not understood hospitality here the right way. 3 stars for that. The music selection is a bit Long Island. With so many black people around, staff and audience, a little more soul in the DJ-ing could be considered. read more

On review, I'm giving Shake Shack four stars. My Grand Central Terminal experience was better -- and the main reason is that I split a single patty with my son -- last time, I ordered a double burger -- and that much seasoned meat without a balance was not the best. One patty does better -- but that plumped-up flavor is still there. Maybe some people like it, maybe some don't -- I am not thrilled by it. The fries were very good this time and they remembered the cheese and it was very delicious. I still think that this is just on par with a good solid higher quality fast-food experience. read more

Went on Mothers day for lunch, this location is much larger then the other location in BK. Very clean and the staff very friendly. Got my food without much of a wait. What can I say about the burgers that I haven't said before...YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! The location is really messy.. like I went to the bathroom and didn't even want to use it. They should have people cleaning up.. there's puddles of water and napkins just laying on the ground in the eating area. I've always loved burgers, from the buns, to the beef, and especially the bacon. When I was first introduced to Shake Shack the wait and lines through me off, but as soon as I finally got my burger, fries, and vanilla shake it all didn't matter it was worth the wait. And since then when ever I'm around the Barclay's Center I just have to eat there, and nothing I've tried is bad either from the 'Shroom Burger to my favorite the SmokeShack. I one hundred percent recommend visiting a Shake Shack, though the lines can sometimes be crazy, especially if you are going in for a small meal, but other than that the nice servers and to die for food is defiantly worth it. read more

I stopped by for lunch today with one of my friends. Ordered a cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, Fries and Brooklyn lager. Order was ready in just few minutes. Food was good, and so was the drink. Dining room attendant was really nice and asked us about the food quality. That was kind of exceptional for a fast food, even though a bit upscale. Normally a fan of SS and Five Guys, but FG's Park Slope location is such a depressing little hole that I chose Shake Shack today. Wish I hadn't. Friday lunchtimes in any decent food place are busy, but this was a little ridiculous. Definitely overrated. I thought the concept was that its simple and fast yet you get a buzzer just to stand in another line. Limited menu options. Fries just taste like frozen fries.
