the staff was very rude. especially the girl with the short brown hair at the main location. she refused to serve the customers for over fifteen minutes. she kept looking at everyone smirking and then turning away and making fun of us in italian. other staff completely ignored the line of customers as well. i was excited to get food here because the smoothie are supposed to be very good. the wait was over 20 minutes for drinks. overall unprofessional, expensive, and disappointing. don't go here. many other local places that aren't chains that have exceptional service read more

Wonderful experience in this cafe/restaurant. We went in the morning for coffee and we where surprised, they offer good coffee at good price. Medium americano is like 250cc (8.45oz). Besides that, there's also vegan milk and vegan croissants. Saw the menu (photos attached) and decided to have early lunch before leaving the city, my mom ordered a classic English brunch and I asked for the vegan brunch plate which was delicious, good quantity and quality. The fresh apple juice was sweeter than expected so consider that when ordering. Randomly stumbled upon this little hole in the wall gem while wandering the streets of Florence. This spot is very tiny, but they also own the location next door which serves as their main take-away counter. There are very few seats in this location, but a lot of their food can be taken to go. After six days in Italy and only drinking espresso, I was beyond excited to finally see a matcha latte with non-dairy milks on the menu (!!!!). It was the matcha latte I didn't know I needed. They offer a wide variety of health foods like açaí bowls, veggie/salad bowls, smoothies, and juices. They also had a bunch of pastries - a lot of which were vegan including banana bread, croissants, and cakes! My partner caved and got a slice of lemon poppy bread which he said hit the spot perfectly and was incredibly moist. He was also really excited to find cold brew. The service was super quick and the employees were all friendly. Not your typical Italian food, but after a lot of pasta and pizza eating, I was very happy to have found this place! read more

Originally was super excited to go here because I've heard good things but the minute we walked in, the workers were extremely rude to us. The red head especially. When we were ordering smoothie bowls and speaking in Italian she made fun of us and told us "just stop I have no idea what you are saying" and laughed in our face. Hubs needed his daily dose of coffee, so we happened to come by Shake Cafe. We got him a large cappuccino, and I got a matcha latte. It was, by far, one of the worst matcha lattes I've ever had lol. Tasted like I was drinking straight milk with a bit of flavor and ice. Definitely needed a lot more matcha (and I don't even LIKE matcha that much). On the plus side, they have a seating area with free wi-fi...so...there's that. This little point café is a vegan vegetarian or help food conscious foodie find. Nestled in the strengths of Florence Italy they have a small but great variety on their menu they have six different salads that include green bean salad tofu marinade a wonderful sweet potato salad spicy kale and a Cesar. They also have several different wraps and they specialize in fresh made juices as well as several different super smoothies their prices are excellent range anywhere from 6 to 8 dollars and all of their iced coffee's as well as lattes are under four dollars each. Considering there are so many restaurants here with heavy pastas and various meat options this was a great find. Ironically they have two of the same stores right next to each other I didn't quite figure out why that is but the business is basically split in two locations right next-door to each other. read more

An oasis of healthy, American food in Italy. If you are craving something a little better for your body, this will do the trick. I visited a couple times and have to say it was a welcome break! They have a ton of fresh pressed juices (Velvet Beets!), a variety of smoothies, coffee drinks, and a full menu of bowls and sandwiches. My only complaint was the cold brew. Wasn't the best, but hey, after two weeks of espresso, it still hit the spot :) read more

Very small but very cute little cafe. Can't really say much about it since the only thing I got was a croissant. The croissant was flakey, sweet and soft. So it was a good croissant. Compared to some other cafes this one is a hint more expensive (my croissant cost 0.20 more). So would I come in again to get a croissant? Probably not since i could get a cheaper one that tastes the same somewhere else. But if i was getting a juice or something more original then I would come back. read more

Love all the shake restaurants. They are consistently good and healthy options. I usually get the super green shake, spicy fajita wrap or lentil salad. Always made the way I like it!! There also many other options but I tend to stick to what I like. For instance, they have sandwiches and croissants that are prepared which is great if you want to grab something very fast. The rest of the item take less than 5 to 10 mins to make. There are there that I know of that are all in good areas around he city center. I would suggest any of them. The only complaints I have which apply to all is that the cashiers are also waitresses do I see them handle both the food and cash which I find gross since they don't wash their hands in between! Also if the restaurant is busy it's take a while since there generally is only 2 or 3 people working and the restaurant is fairly small so gets crowded Bottom line..come here or any of the other shake cafes for a healthy and delicious meal. This wonderfully decorated, modern, and surprisingly hole in the wall cafe was one of our best eating experiences in Florence. The cafe poses as a tiny juice bar and we had actually entered it to quench our thirsts but just by walking a few steps forward, we found out that there is an entire restaurant associated with the Cafe and we were right on time for brunch! We were lucky because it was a relatively slow day and the waiters served us our food, but usually the cafe is a self-order, self-serve, and self-cleanup facility (like a high-end cafeteria) something the locals already seemed to know. I ordered the vegan bagel and the Detox juice, both of which were tasty and filling and very healthy at the same time! I was excited to try Shake's smoothie bowls after seeing them on a friend's Instagram story, but, unfortunately, they were quite disappointing. I ordered an acai bowl and a chia bowl and thought it was cool that they let me choose my own unlimited toppings. The bowls came out fast, which was impressive, but they tasted bland and were not worth the money. One of them was way too sour and had chunks of ice all through it. The other was a little better, but still had almost no flavor. What saved our meal, however, was the avocado toast. It was to die for! I noticed that most people were ordering it, and for good reason. It was huge, flavorful, and topped with a fried egg. It also came with a hearty bed of greens.
