I signed up for Close Quarters Combat (CQB) Level 1 as a birthday gift for my brother-in-law. I'd just introduced him to shooting about a year ago and thought this would be an interesting gift. Randy and Paul are excellent instructors, and have the perfect balance of patience and pressure while trying to impress their experience and knowledge upon you. You quickly learn a new level of appreciation for people that work in combat related professions. The facility is top notch, and while this is only the first time taking a course there, my brother-in-law and I both agreed we'd definitely be going back for more. We might even go for CQB Level 1 on a repeat performance, because let's face it, you learn by doing. A word of advice; this is not the kind of place to bring your ego to get stroked. It simply isn't going to happen, you're up against 70+ years of experience with Randy and Paul, and I can only guess with some of the other folks on the staff. Go there wanting to learn, and have a little fun at while doing so and it'll be time and money well spent. Thanks Shadow Hawk, and look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future. read more
