They kept the class entertained, all while given us valuable knowledge regarding safe gun handling. The 4hrs class plus the live fire section were perfect. At first I was a little overwhelmed with all the information we were getting. However by incorporating class participation, things began to stick. And yes I still remember the 3 rules of handgun safety: 1) always point the gun in a safe direction. 2)keep your hand off the trigger unless you are ready to shoot. 3)keep the gun unloaded, unless for home defense!!! Thanks Dave and Drew for making this a great learning experience for myself and my family. Now if I can just just a collection like the ones you guys have. Lol. They are closed on almost every single holiday including mlk day, halloween, memorial day. Etc. There is almost nothing closed on those days unless you have a job for the goverment or city or bank job. This online university is well suited to the current conditions of having to do online classes as…read morethey have been exclusively home study since the 1980's. They are staffed with caring individuals who genuinely wish to help students in their academic careers, and their professors are very knowledgeable in their subjects and helpful as well. The university is excellent for introducing one to the lives of the saints, especially those of the early centuries of the Church. However, the endless numbers of videos that one has to naturally watch with any online program can lead to quite a bit of boredom so space yourself. That being said, the university has shown it will tolerate conservative, Tradition-minded Catholics to a point, particularly in their online chat forum. Moreover, you can be assigned readings from individuals who reportedly later became Freemasons, as may have been the case with Cardinal Leo Jozef Suenens, one of the principal movers and shakers behind Vatican II. The work assigned was a very much insider's look at Vatican II and so had value. But I wish I had known ahead of time of the allegation. The revelations contained in Suenens work on the plans for the Church's future were so shocking (almost like a conspirator's private notes) that they turned me from being one who believed the Council was valid but held at the wrong time in history to being invalid altogether. But that's not the fault of the university so if you do choose to take classes with it you will encounter a lot that is good but keep an eye out if you are Tradition-minded.
