A lovely corner spot, always so warm and inviting, especially this time of year…read more... Whether it's a quick stop for coffee or a longer linger for brunch/dinner, you'll find a nice selection of Italian, smoothies, sandwiches, and drinks. In warmer months spill outside to the seating under the awning, and when it's rainy there's always a friendly seat inside. They'll likely even accommodate when you have an off-time menu request, as theh have for me. All this won't be news to the locals who frequent for the service and the food. Weekends you should probably book ahead, especially if you're looking for larger group accommodation. You'll have plenty of harder drink choices as well for those evening visits. I'll return and look for you there.

Had the chance to visit Rubio for a promotional night and it was absolutely brilliant!…read more The staff are super friendly and the location is very cozy and stylish. A little way off from the busy high streets, this restaurant occupies a beautiful corner space with a large patio and rustic, nostalgic decor. The pizza is delicious with a traditional crust that's not too thin in the middle, a very fruity tomato base and generous toppings. I tried the buffalo mozzarella pizza and it was absolutely stunning. Huge chunks of scrumptious mozzarella, plenty of rocket, a perfect combination. The back wall is covered in vinyl LP sleeves and there's a dj desk. We were lucky enough to have the owner spin records for us, which was a great accompaniment for dinner, a great excuse for some dancing exercise after eating and not too loud to stop us from chatting. Would definitely recommend this location!

Now this gets a 5 cos of the way it has never failed to surprise me…read more It's February 2014 and in the time I first visited this store there have 3 chains opening up across the road as well one that is open 24hrs, like this place. It still does very good business at least from where I stand. I suppose its because it's customer base tends to be the more ethnic side of things eg. It has 5 different kinds of Mayonnaise from different countries. The best thing about Way2Save, or however its worded, is the great value for money many things are. A bag of vegetables that costs you a £5 and last you the week or more.... And they look fresh and in abundance. Of course there are things that One would place in the "dubious" category, for example... They have a butchers in there... The chicken looks mostly not like chicken... SO many varieties of pickle, too many olives and never have the best stuff, like Polish sausage, Dutch sausage, Irish sausage, but not the one you want. a few too many off brand goods. Those things I care not about. and thus do not affect my perusal of items I wish to buy at great value. The staff are great chaps, always stacking... it never seems to end. They are always helpful and if they don't have what you ask for, they'll get it for you on the next run. Most of the local restaurants use them for a the great variety the place has, the service is good so I'm convinced. Open 24hrs even of the holidays, this place, in my opinion deserves 5 stars.
