Once on the island I also followed up. There was no response from them and they never contacted us for the charter. It's a shame too because we have gone with them several times before. We had an excellent week as far as weather goes, but disappointed that we didn't get to fish. Go with someone else so that you'll get to go. If you don't have a backup plan, everything will be booked by the time your week comes around.

My husband and I recommend the airboat tour and plan to make it an annual tradition. Captain Cook makes the tour fun but the swamp views are worth the trip even if the alligators are hiding. Tip: if you are in the front row on the airboat I would recommend not wearing lipgloss....everything sticks!

Called on a Friday hoping for a Saturday cruise and Captain was able to put it together! Short notice but wow (!) he pulled it off! We met at the marina, climbed on board and off we went. The weather was perfect, our 3 year old granddaughter took a shine to Captain Jeremy right away and even went "up top" to sit with him while he steered! Jeremy was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and he got us to where we needed to be for a fabulous sunset.
