There are endless trails along the Seyhan River for walking, biking, running or walking downtown to the 'high rent district'. The one negative about this hotel is on hot summer days the AC system just can't keep the rooms cool. There is a brand new Sheraton Hotel on the other side of the Media Market that is probably the nicest hotel in Adana, but I have not had the opportunity to stay there yet.

The view for the river and park from the room was amazing. Walking bridge to downtown is very close -as is the Optimum Mall. (After eating all day - the walk back to the hotel was needed) We did eat a snack and had breakfast each morning at La Spezia. Breakfast was buffet style, but served. Their pastry chef can make the most wonderfully beautiful sugar flowers and they had several displays near the food. If I only had that talent (and patience). The food was delicious with a lot of variety. Two favorite condiments I didn't know I needed at breakfast: honey comb and clotted cream (just give me a bowl and roll me out!) For a snack one night, I had a nice maze plate (with a glass of wine of course!). It was a perfect late night bite and almost looked too good to eat (almost...). There was the choice of several different Turkish wines by the glass - both red and white. Price wise, I felt like everything was very reasonable. It was around $100 a night including breakfast, and they even gave us a discount on the food we purchased at other times. Unfortunately the spa was not open this weekend, but I would definitely go back to check it out in the future. The only complaint I have is that maybe the bed was a little too hard for my tastes, but I know others will love it that way. I'm looking forward to a return visit.

They had a gorgeous Christmas tree on display. The main eye stopper for me was the glass bulb light fixtures throughout the lobby. The decor is beautiful too...blue, beige, chocolate, and cream. As I walked into the dining area for our breakfast I was greeted immediately. The servers and hostess were very friendly. I could not believe the options of food for this breakfast too! You had your options of cheeses, fruits, olives, and veggies. You could have toast and fresh, warm Borek (my favorite)! They had a large spread of pastries, breads, and cereals. They offered several different cold cuts too. I chose to have a fresh veggie omelette cooked. It was delicious! They offered the choices of scrambled eggs, poached eggs, pancakes, and a few other options cooked fresh. The servers walked around with fresh coffee and juices. As we were leaving we were greeted by one of the managers. I asked to take some pictures of the hotel, and we started talking. He was very polite and offered us a tour. He took us to the bar that was closed at the moment. He took us upstairs to see the view from the second floor restaurant. You have an amazing view of the mosque. The restaurant was large, neatly decorated, and had a huge outdoor seating area. Our last stop was one of the downstairs ballrooms. I wish we would have had our Christmas party there. Overall, I still cannot get over the gorgeous colors they chose to decorate the hotel. It's beautiful!! I would love to see what the rooms look like and review that as well..or the restaurant on the second floor. =)

They had a queen bed, kitchen and a bathroom. The rooms are really nice. If I had to stay here again I would. Any ideas don't think this will be my last time staying here. I liked the chair that they had in the room, it was comfortable. The room had a lot in it and it still felt like I had a lot of room to move around in. The service. The people were nice and very helpful. Finding my way around was really easy. The base itself is not very big. Everything there is to do here is in walking distance from the hotel which is nice. I will probably stay here again only reason I rated a four was because there was a leak coming from some source in the bathroom. Not enough to bother me though, but still there.

Our family room had two bedroom, a full bathroom, laundry room, and stocked kitchen. I was very pleased with how clean the room was and how comfy the furniture was....especially the beds. I have never been so comfortable sleeping in a hotel bed...pillow top mattresses are amazing! =) The rooms are very affordable too even though we didn't have to pay outright for our rooms.
