I was honestly hesitant at first. I thought I wasn't getting my moneies worth, but after everything was said and done. I was shown that Johnathan and his team really worked their magic. I didn't get out of a DUI, nor did I get a wet and reckless, but given my Alcohol level I should of faced heavier consequences. Johnathan really did everything thing that he could for me. I got my second Dui in Orange County overall I have had 3 DUI's , but after 10 years they don't count against you. I came 2 years shy from my last one dropping from my record if that had been the case I'd would have been charged with my first Dui but that wasn't the case being that the charges Carry jail time I was worried about going to jail and loosing time away from my 4 year old son and loosing my business and my job so I googled 2nd dui attorneys in Orange County and the Seyb law Group came up I read all there reviews and they where all good reviews so I gave them a call. I met with Spencer and Nathan and they seemed really professional, they heard my situation and they assured me that they could help me and keep me out of jail that they had a couple programs I could qualify for instead of jail time so I put my luck in there hands and to my surprise this guys kept me from going in to jail they got me house arrest for 30 days and I could have never been happier to stay a free man and keep my life together. So I want to be very fair in writing this review...I never not once wrote a review on Yelp but think it's important to state true accurate and fair feedback when dealing with attorneys. Now, let me start off by saying I came to Nate because I heard great things about SEYB Law Group and read some great reviews. Everyone in the office including Nate himself are not only genuine respectful people but they are also very professional as well. First time talking to Nate he seemed he knew what he was doing and he knew what he was talking about. He Definitely had the experience no doubt when discussing my case with him. However, in my case specifically...I honestly truly felt things could have gone A LOT better my way in court. His fee was 3500$...a pretty standard price when dealing with good DUI attorneys.. and I had no problem paying that since I felt confident in the things he was telling me, but unfortunately for me the penalties didn't go as planned with Nate. This was my first offense on my record and many other people in the same, if not worse position as me got off with a lot less...I do not want to go into the personal details of my case ...but let's just say I know SEVERAL people that got the same exact penalties and fees that I got without an attorney representing them. So in my mind, I'm thinking..what did I just spend my money on? Why did I need an attorney?...He did prevent me from getting any jail time..which was great but being my first dui I've been told by many it's pretty rare doing any jail time...Especially if you weren't involved in an accident with another car. Not only was I dissatisfied with my results when he first told me...the second time he went to Court for me I was only hoping for one thing at LEAST...and that was to maybe get community service instead of paying a 2000$ fine, since times are tough and I already sunk 3500$ Just to hire him along with the additional costs people get with a DUI that's one thing I wanted....but he couldn't even get me that....( Which again I know people in the SAME position as me who represented themselves and got that) So again...YES this Law group are very nice respectful people and are very professional I have no argument there...and yes they will be there for you when you call or text them regarding your case....but I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the results and conclusion of my first offense case. I feel I threw away 3500$. I feel that if I represented myself I would've got the exact same penalties....and I only feel this way because ive done so much research in the process and asked so many different people regarding 1st dui offenses. I wish I can give SEYB Law Group 5 stars and as badly as I wanted to I can't. Only recommendation I can give you in my experience with this Law Group is save your money...and if you decide to go with SEYB than make SURE your at every court case with them when they represent you because that's one thing I failed to do since they said I didn't need to...that they would "Take care of it"...It'll keep them on their toes at least and maybe they would actually try to fight for you since your present with them in the court room.
