This review is for the restaurant within the Sexto Sol resort. First let's start with the view: it's amazing! The restaurant is set atop a huge drop that hosts a river where people go for rafting! It also has a prime view of the zip line that crosses the canyon on what I think is the longest and scariest zip line I've ever been to (so far). The restaurant has decent food, not outstanding, but good enough, and for the price and view, it's forgivable :) The service was a little less than stellar. I'd say that folks here live by a different clock than the rest of the world. You know those commercials that say "change your latitude"? I'd say of this place, "change your speed". If you adjust your expectations on service, you'll have a great time. And this is exactly what we did. We reminded them of things we ordered several times until one finally arrived, we asked for utensils repeatedly until someone remembered to bring them, etc. In fact, after waiting for the check for nearly 40 minutes we sent it back because they had forgotten to charge us for several items.
