I have been to diamond dolls a lot and i have never had a bad night, I have been there for parties but most of the time my friends and myself (mixed company) visit the club for a night out. Every time i have been there the girls have been very nice and do actually sit and chat to you. I have been to other clubs in Glasgow and the girls are only interested in getting money out of you. In terms of the drinks i think they are very reasonable as some other clubs are way over priced and you don't have half as good a night as you do in this club. The dances last for a good length of time and are cheap, i like the club as they have a range of girls of all different shapes and sizes, they cater to everyone's taste. The appeal of this place is not the drinks, obviously. It's the naked women. I've never been to other strip clubs so it's hard for me to rate this place without a reference point. What I can say is that the girls pick you, you dont pick the girls. You just sort of sit there till they approach you and do a good job of pretending to be interestein you, slowly working the conversation away towards getting naked. It's not actually that expensive, a tenner for a 'dance' with other arrangements for more time and champagne costing over £100. The girls are as attractive as you would hope for, and from all different backgrounds. It is all rather tacky though, rather than sexy. If you're into banging, yet credible dance music, then Sub Club is probably still your best bet in Scotland. It's won various awards over the years, none of which I can remember. To be honest, I just don't get the exceptionally repetitive thudding of Saturday nights, and as good as Optimo was, once the style of music they played inadvertently became trendy, it lost much of what made it good in the first place. I've been to a couple of Drum n Bass nights which have been pretty good, but possibly not worth the headaches and the ringing in your ears afterwards. I did once get a shot at DJing in here on a Subcity night, and despite it being practically empty, the fact that I got everyone dancing to my favourite TLC tune, summed up the club for me. The punters are pretty open to anything, and don't give a toss as long as it sounds good. You can't ask for much more than that in a club.
